Ringing In The New Year WIth Netflix! #StreamTeam

*As a member of the Stream Team, I do receive free Netflix, BUT all opinions are my own.
It's no secret I'm training for The Miami Marathon. With 4 weeks out, I only had to run 12 miles this weekend. It was BRUTAL. I've never put in miles in sub zero temps. Let me tell you what happens. Even if you layer up properly, which I did, you still have a lot to contend with.

First, my water froze. #Bummer Then my Clif Bloks froze. They were more like throat lozenges. SO I just sucked on them. THEN, thanks to the shady Apple update, my phone died in my pocket. Bottom line, everything froze and nothing worked.

I have NEVER been happier to get home, climb into bed with a cup of hot chocolate and a warm fuzzy blanket and binge Netflix.
I'm almost through The Crown season 2, which has been AMAZING. There is so much history I didn't know and I find it fascinating to watch. The costumes, the sets the acting, I love it all.

Once I finish that, I'll be queuing up season 2 of Travelers. I am so excited this show came back for a season 2 and I can't wait to dig into it!

It's in the single digits now. I am in for a cozy night of ringing in 2018 with Netflix. How are you ringing in the New Year?

Stranger Things 2 = Halloween Goodness! #StreamTeam

Ever since the kids and I found out Stranger Things Season 2 was coming out October 27, my kids and I have been planning. We're a Halloween family! The kids plan their route, pick their costumes and hit the streets. How fun is Maggie's Dino costume?! (*As a member of the Stream Team, I do receive free Netflix, BUT all opinions are my own.)
When they're through, I look forward to sitting down to a Chicago deep dish pizza while the kids do some candy trading. THIS year ... we'll be binging Stranger Things Season 2, candy trading and eating deep dish pizza. Ima call that Halloween perfection!
If you haven't seen Stranger Things yet, there’s still time to binge it before Stranger Things 2 launches Oct. 27! I also have a sweet giveaway going on in my IG. Enter to win 3 months of free Netflix for you and a friend!
Talk Halloween with me. What are your kids being? What do you look forward to on Halloween night? Are you as excited for Stranger Things 2 as me?!

Netflix Birthdays On-Demand #StreamTeam

The pressure is on parents for the perfect Birthday party. I'll admit it, I've come up short. I'm not sure when it all changed. Where did we lose control? When I was a kid, my mom would make a box cake, throw some candles on it. Our family would sing Happy Birthday, cue presents and that was it.

Would you believe 3/4 of parents today feel pressure to make things party perfect? Some stress points: money (the average party spend is $200), time (the average prep time is 10 hours), social media and competition (do NOT go down the Pinterest rabbit hole).
Guess what? Netflix has an easier way. For the first time ever, Netflix has released Birthdays On-Demand. From Lego Ninjago to Skylander, to Barbie they have 15 of your kid's favorite characters singing directly to them.
It literally could not be easier. Just search "Birthday" on Netflix and choose between: DreamWorks All Hail King Julien, Barbie, Beat Bugs, DreamWorks Dinotrux, Las Leyendas, LEGO Friends, LEGO Ninjago, Luna Petunia, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, My Little Pony, Pokemon, Project Mc2, Skylanders Academy, DreamWorks Trollhunters and Word Party.

My kids look for any reason to eat cake. I surprised my daughter with a half Birthday party complete with her friends from All Hail King Julian. Fun and done! Thanks Netflix for having our back!

The Defenders have SO MANY Gifts! #StreamTeam

What seems like a million years ago now, I binged Jessica Jones season 1. While patiently waiting for season 2, The Defenders popped up on Netflix. Starring among others Jessica Jones!
After binging all 8 episodes in under 2 days, I now have 3 other gifts waiting for me. (One which I am binging as I type #Daredevil.)

Here's the crazy part. I AM A HUGE MARVEL FAN. HUGE! How is it that I did not see Daredevil, Luke Cage AND The Iron Fist on Netflix? Like...really, how did this happen? Let's just break this down. With a nice chart provided by Netflix:
In The Defenders, all 4 of these crime fighting super humans find themselves in New York City up against The Hand. MAD props to Sigourney Weaver for being awesome!

I don't want to give ANYTHING away but I will tell you, I fell in love with Iron Fist, Daredevil and since Luke Cage had a brief part in Jessica Jones, I have NO excuse for having not watched it yet. He was AMAZING.

Here's the thing, Netflix must have recommended Daredevil to me a hundred times and I never listened. Don't be like me. When Netflix says, "Hey Netflix watcher, you'll like this." LISTEN to them. They are right. Rest assured, I won't make that mistake again ;)

Ozark Is Dark And Fantastic #StreamTeam

Let's just all agree that Jason Bateman has come a long way since Silver Spoons. A LONG way.
My friends and I grew up watching him. (Between you and I ... I even remember him on Little House on the Prairie.) SO, when we saw the Ozark trailer, my gang, spread all over the nation now, was all ready to start the binge on July 21.

I can't help but wonder if everyone does this. We all binge and text each other, making sure not to give anything away until everyone is caught up. "What episode are you on?" "OK, I'll wait. LMK when you finish episode 6 🙊🙊🙊"

Yowza this show is dark, but GOOD! It kind of reminded me of a Midwestern Bloodline. (And you know I loved my Bloodline.) The decisions these characters make send them in a downward spiral that you don't want to watch...but have to. I loved the middle of the run flashback. It told a story I didn't expect on how Jason Bateman's Marty Byrd finds himself uprooting his family from Chicago in the span of a weekend and laundering 8 million dollars for the drug cartel. That just doesn't happen to a golfing, suburb living, financial planner dad.
Laura Linney (Marty Byrd's wife) reminds me of Robin Wright from House of Cards in how complicated she is. There are many layers to her. I was at times floored by her decisions. You can't not watch her. At times you wonder if there is any emotion at all in her.

This is only a 10 episode first season. And the supporting is SPOT on. From Marty's daughter and son, to the thieving assistant he hires to the Southern drug dealer, and the FBI agent hot on his trail. The characters are complicated, and well played.

I finished season one looked down at my phone to the text, "I'm ready for season 2 stat!"

I agree!

Summer Mornings With Netflix #StreamTeam

We are exactly ONE day into summer. I both love and dread this season. I love it because I'm DONE with homework and packing lunches and getting kids to school. I need a break. I dread it because, I work from home. How am I going to carve out blocks of time to get work done?

Netflix to the rescue! Lemme give you a peek at my desk.
That's my computer. I'm coding a WordPress site. That's my iPad. I have my headset in and I'm watching House of Cards. My daughter is watching Moana on Netflix on the TV. (Have you watched it? It's REALLY good.) That is how I buy myself a chunk of time to get work done.

We've cued up Moana, Dr Strange, Captain America: Civil War, Finding Dory...Full confession, my daughter thinks I need a self help group for Dr. Strange. I may or may not have watched it 10 times. #TotallyHave
I have to share my guilty pleasure with you. Riverdale! Have you watched it? I binged it while working last week. It's SO not the comic book we grew up with as kids. It's kind of like high school Twin Peaks meets Heathers. I LOVE the parents. Trust me when I tell you, you'll recognize ALL of them!
Your turn, what's on your playlist this summer? *I am a member of the Netflix StreamTeam. While I am not paid, I do receive a free Netflix membership. All experiences and opinions are my own.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season 3 #StreamTeam

Are you ready?

I can't hear you ... I said, "ARE YOU READY?"

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season 3 is back Friday May 19! Netflix gave me a sneak peak at the first 2 episodes. It. Is. SO. Good!
If you're caught up, you know that at the end of season 2, Kimmy was in a cliffhanger with Reverend Richard Wayne Gary Wayne (played by John Hamm).

After receiving divorce papers in the mail, Kimmy discusses her options with Jacqueline (played brilliantly by Jane Krakowski). She advises Kimmy to drag it out. Explaining NOW Kimmy has the upper hand. While keeping Rev RWGW on hold, Kimmy also explores college options. Dare I hope that we find a new love interest with former Hamilton star Daveed Diggs? #FingersCrossed I can't wait to see where this leads AND I am waiting NOT so patiently for Friday so I can continue my bingefest.
Titus finds himself back in New York from his short stint on a cruise ship and things are NOT going smoothly. Still no career in sight after interviewing for a role on Sesame Street. His romance with Season 2's Mikey seems to be on the rocks. What's a boy to do? Go "Lemonading" of course. By far my favorite part of Season 3 so far.

Are you caught up? You have 2 days ... so get binging.

In case that's not enough, House of Cards season 5 drops May 30. #Squee

AND the final season of Bloodline hits May 26. The trailer ... I just can't. #SoGood

Science Time = Bill Nye #StreamTeam

It's science fair time. I don't remember how the science fair worked when I was a kid. I just remember doing experiments.

I don't remember if we had a point to our projects. These days, you have to be able to answer a testable question.

How does _________ affect _________?

Benny wants to do something with rockets. I think it's great that he wants to explore rockets, BUT I have no clue where to turn OR what to do. SO, we fired up some Netflix. Bill Nye Saves the World seems like the place to start to get us in the mood to explore our topic.
You remember Bill Nye The Science Guy, right?

Well he's got a new show and it's perfection. Benny and I combed through the topics and decided we had to watch Episode 5, The Original Martian Invasion ... AND episode 10, Saving the World with Space.

I know I watched Billy Nye when I was a kid but WOW. He is dynamic, and passionate. It was just the right thing to get Benny's science creative juices flowing for the science fair.

Here's the thing, we live in a world where science is actually in jeopardy. And I can't believe I just typed that. We just had the march for science all over the world. I WANT my kids to live in a world where they ask questions. I want them to get their hands dirty and experiment. Prove their theories, wrong or right ... figure things out.
I am so thankful this show is on. I can watch it with them and we can discuss how they feel about some VERY relevant topics. From climate change to machines taking over the world, to Earth and overpopulation. These are all things that are on my kids minds. Bill Nye and Netflix present them in a way that's not threatening, not scary, not defensive. It's fun AND entertaining. I can't say enough about it. Major high fives on this one!

Rainy Days Are Made For #StreamTeam

We have had the same day ... for over a week now. Foggy, dark, dreary, rainy ... repeat. Don't believe me? I give you exhibit A.
There is actually a city back there, but you wouldn't know it. Same day every day. I can't remember the last time I saw the sun. Oh wait ... I do!
This little ray of sunshine showed up in my inbox about a week ago! You KNOW I love me some Grace & Frankie. You can see that here, and here, and here, oh ... and then there's THIS.

Season 3 could NOT have come at a better time. I've spent every night this week hanging with the ladies in LaJolla. Ya'll, it's SO good. (Yes I did just drop a Ya'll on you.) There is nothing better than curling up with a blanket on a rainy day and binging your favorite show. AND at the rate this rain is coming down ... I'm going to need season 4 STAT!

What do you binge when the rain just keeps coming?

Santa Clarita Diet Party! #StreamTeam

My best friend is a romantic comedy fanatic. She could watch Love Actually EVERY day forever. I on the other hand can NOT resist a good zombie show. Walking Dead, ALL. Day. Long.

When Santa Clarita Diet came out ... I knew it was perfect for the both of us! It's a ZOMBIE RomCom. It's like it was made for the both of us to binge together. PLUS, who doesn't love Drew Barrymore?! Don't even get me started on Timothy Olyphant, I literally could not love him more. OK, so we can't just snack on our bestie binge date... I had to play up the zombie ya know?
How hilarious are these hot dogs?
I served up Berry Smoothies with beet root, carrot, apple lemon juice and honey.
AND for dessert, Red Velvet Rice Crispy Treats. Simply add 3/4 cup of red velvet box cake mix to your regular Rice Crispy recipe and you are ready for the perfect zombie dinner party!

In case your wondering, not only can you catch up with The Walking Dead on Netflix, you can also watch Love Actually OVER, and OVER, and OVER. That should hold you over until Santa Clarita Diet season two ;)

Lemony Snicket’s ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events' #StreamTeam

The kids and I took a trip over the holiday. We checked into the hotel and enjoyed the pool. It's SO cold in Chicago, that sitting at the side of a warm steamy hotel pool is a slice of Heaven. After a yummy dinner, we went back to the room, snuggled in the giant bed and fired up Netflix.

I had early access to Lemony Snicket’s ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events'. Maggie has read the books and we were all very excited to see Neil Patrick Harris as the creepy Count Olaf. There is nothing better than curling up with the kids, having nothing on our to do list but binge some Netflix. This show did NOT disappoint!

The show starts with Lemony Snicket (played by Patrick Warburton) warning us NOT to watch what we are about to watch. This concerned Benny a bit, but I explained to him we'd just give it a chance and if it scared him, we'd turn it off. Thankfully, it was just the right amount of entertainment and foreboding to keep us all watching.
Even though this isn't in any way an animated show, we all felt it had a Tim Burton quality about it. A dark, oddness surrounds the movie and the characters encountered by the Baudelaire children.

While the kids loved the show and a couple of characters I can't mention here, they found the adults infuriating. "Why don't they see he's clearly a bad man trying to steal their money?" "Why doesn't anyone listen to the  Baudelaire's?" (Between you and I, it's a bit how I felt about a certain Presidential election, but that's another story.)

Look for the FANTASTIC guest performances. They are gems sprinkled through out season 1. I both adored and wanted to shake Joan Cusack's wacky judge character.

Get ready to fire up your Netflix, Lemony Snicket’s ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events' drops Jan 13!

I've Been On A Journey #StreamTeam

It has taken me a long time to get there. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure we ever actually GET there.

Let me word this a different way. I've come to the conclusion that I don't need more. What I actually need, is less. I've been holding on to things that I don't use for reasons I can't understand. When I saw The Minimalists had a new documentary, I binged it immediately. Then I binged it again.

What I have learned is this "THINGS do NOT bring us happiness." I entered the holidays with a mindset of "buy experiences not things." With that, I bought my daughter orchestra seats for Hamilton. (That's another story.) These tickets will be a memory that lives with her forever.  Much longer than any toy or clothing I could have purchased.

I've also been on a tear to get rid of stuff in my house. I think I've scared my family, and I'm trying not to purge any of their stuff in my fury to create white space. Here's my bedroom. This brings me joy.
There's basically nothing left in it. Nothing under the bed. Nothing on the floor. Just a space to sleep, dedicated to relaxation. Would you like to see what left? (I knew that you would!)
This was all just taking up space in the closet. I literally couldn't remember the last time I wore any of it. It had to go.
I really don't know how or why I ended up with so many pairs of shoes. How many pairs of shoes can one person own? SO much stuff I haven't worn in so long. It's ridiculous.
My first round brought out 4 garbage bags to the Salvation Army, followed by another 3.

I know minimalism is not just about getting rid of stuff. For me, it's about creating more space. All of the things in my house were weighing me down. I did the fastest KonMari Method ever. I'd look at it, hold it, if it didn't bring me joy, it had to go. That's it. "Does it bring me joy?" "Nope." "It's gotta go."

I'm by no means done with my purge, but I'm making progress. Is anyone else downsizing the load heading into the new year? I'm so curious to hear.

*I also need to mention 2 series that dropped on Netflix over the break.

First, The OA. I loved it. I binged it so fast it was over before I knew it. It's kind of like a grown up Stranger Things. I was definitely left wanting more. I hope Netflix brings it back for a season 2.

Second, Travelers. Let's start by saying I love Eric McCormack! Love him! This sci-fi thriller is out there for sure, but I loved every second of it. This one left me wanting more NOW too. I don't know what Netflix has planned for it, but I need season 2 yesterday.

Third, I just started The Fall. So far, so good!

Gilmore Girls Morning! #StreamTeam

I felt like a kid on Christmas morning! My Maggie woke me up at 5 a.m., we bounded down the stairs, turned on Netflix and there it was ... "Recently added Gilmore Girls" Let the binge begin!
"Wait ... Maggie yelled! We forgot to start the binge candle." I got out the box it was in and unwrapped it. STOP it right now.
Packed in the Stars Hollow Gazette. How perfect is that?! I enjoyed SO much sitting down and devouring this show with my daughter. It is absolutely my favorite thing when we can snuggle on the couch and just be. Stars Hollow is such a magical place. A Year In The Life takes us through 4 seasons (winter, spring, summer and fall) with the Gilmore ladies. There was coffee, fast talking, pop tarts and family.
Grab a mug and whoever your Rory is ... plop down on the couch and be thankful Netflix picked up this wonderful series. How'd you spend the day after Thanksgiving?

Haters Back Off #StreamTeam

I am officially old. YouTubers have taken over the world. When my daughter told me about a YouTuber she loves getting her own Netflix series, I knew the times...they have changed. You know what, I'm going to let her tell you all about it...

I'm Maggie, and their are two things I love most. YouTube, and Netflix. So when I found out that Colleen Ballinger was making a show on Netflix, I was so psyched! The show is called Haters Back Off. It is based off a character she created named Miranda. Although Miranda has her own YouTube channel, this show gives a glimpse into her fictional home life.
In the first episode Miranda posts her first YouTube video, in the second episode Miranda joins the church choir, in the third episode Miranda auditions for a movie director, in the fourth episode Miranda does her first show and I am on the fifth episode now.
I'm hoping this show has a second season...'cause I'm loving it! And Netflix...if you're listening...more YouTubers PLEASE!

So, there you have it. My 11 year old daughter has bypassed TV completely and is watching one of her favorite YouTubers, on her iPad, on Netflix. When I was 11, I was waiting for Saturday morning cartoons. AND...I feel old ;) I'm curious, what are your kids streaming?

An Actual Conversation In My House #StreamTeam

Not gonna lie, it's been a LONG week. What am I saying? It's been a LONG month. I work all day, and before I know it, I look up and it's time to pick up kiddos from school and get dinner on the table. After dinner, I look forward to relaxing on the couch. I love Netflix, but I do get bummed out when I've binged a show and then I don't know what to watch.

Me: "I've binged everything I want to watch and now I'm just searching for something else."
My Daughter: "Use the Discover feature."
Me: "I don't want to. I'm just gonna scroll around until I find something for us."
My Daughter: "MOM...I promise you, it works. Just try it."
Me: "No...I'll find something, just gimmie a sec."
My Daughter: "MOM...I promise you, it works. Just try it."

I don't know why I didn't want to use the Discover feature. I think it's like stubborn folks who don't want to ask for directions. Like, I know what I want to watch. When actually, I have NO idea what to watch.

Me: "Alright...I'm sick of searching. I'm going to try the Discover feature."

AND...Boom! I input a few films my daughter and I like...and it pops up Bring It On.

Both of us: "Um...totally want to watch that!" That was easy ;)

This weekend, I'm totally watching the Amanda Knox Documentary, and THEN Luke Cage! What are you binging next?

Stranger Things #StreamTeam

August has been a busy month. Between work, and kids in Chicago not going back to school until after Labor Day, there has been a lot going on in our house.

We did however find a moment to sit down and binge Stranger Things.
I had NO IDEA what a treat we were in for! This show is magic with a side of creepy. Think Goonies meets Super 8 and add a pinch of E.T. I can't say enough about it. It's a given that I'm going to love anything set in the 80's, which Stranger Things is. These actors were perfection as 80's kids.
It was SO wonderful to sit with my kids and watch pieces of my childhood. Their entire mode of transportation is their bikes, AND there isn't an adult in sight through everything they do. We spent every waking moment on our bikes AND our mother wouldn't know where we were until sundown. My kids are having such a different experience.

Nostalgia aside, Stranger Things brings the creepy for sure. Without ruining anything, let me just say "Oh Barb!!!!" PLUS OMG, I haven't mentioned one of the best parts...
Winona Ryder as the mom!!! I miss her. I have no idea where she's been. Who didn't love her in Heather's?! Girlfriend NAILED it as the mom who refused to believe her son was gone.

I can not share enough how much I loved it. The best movie of the summer in my book...that wasn't a movie ;) Well done Netflix!

I Am Not Your Guru #StreamTeam

I have always been curious about Tony Robbins. I don't know much about his background, other than he was born into a poor family, and a story about a stranger who left a bag of groceries at his door over Thanksgiving so they wouldn't go hungry. This catapulting him on his lifelong journey to help end hunger across the nation.

I am fascinated by huge venues and what it takes behind the scenes to bring big shows like Date With Destiny to fruition. That's why I was so excited when I saw that Netflix was airing I Am Not Your Guru. It is the perfect behind the scenes peek at Tony's Date With Destiny event in Florida, directed by Joe Berlinger. It is quite a show.
Before I go any further, I must warn you, this is a show to watch once the kiddos are in bed. I was taken aback by the language Tony uses. He says he uses "the science of taboo language" to wake his audience up from their sense of inadequacy. Date With Destiny is a $5,000 six day marathon of Tony Talk.

While Guru, walks you through a lot of Tony on stage couching a handful of attendees, I was more interested in the event organizers back stage, and the one on one interviews with Tony pre and post stage. It is quite a show. At times it feels like a cult. This guy has the crowd behind him for sure.

I must admit, Guru left room for questions that go unanswered. There is a lot of therapy going on here. I couldn't help but wonder how dangerous that could be. At one point, Tony asks if anyone had contemplated suicide to raise their hand. Many folks do. At that point, you can't help but think they are entering dangerous territory.

He also encourages a woman to break up with her boyfriend over the phone in front of the entire audience. I'm sure there must have been scenes we did not see that lead up to that. I'm also sure there must be some vetting of audience members before Tony chooses them. (Think Steve Martin Leap of Faith)

I'm curious, have any of you seen Guru? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Bloodline Season 2 OMG! #StreamTeam

I'm not gonna lie. It's hard for me to write about it. I love me some Bloodline. Like...LOVE.
Those Rayburns just can't seem to stay out of trouble. Season 2 picks up right where Season 1 left off. I don't want to spoil anything, and if you haven't watched Season 1, GO, binge watch it NOW. It is so painful to watch the bad decision making spiral out of control for these characters. But it is SO good.
John Leguizamo is so bad...and creepy...and BRILLIANT. The dread just seeps into every episode. There are times when you just want to tap them on the shoulder and say "Stop. Just STOP."

These characters are flawed. You want to root for them...but they've done terrible things. There's no way there can EVER be a happy ending for any of them. I don't know if there's a Season 3 in the works, and I'll be sure to let you know if I hear anything. Season 2's finale...just left me staring at the screen. I. Did. Not. See. That. COMING!

Who are my Bloodline fans? Have you binged the second season? I need someone to commiserate with!

My Grace & Frankie Set Visit #StreamTeam

By now, you HAVE to know Season 2 of Grace & Frankie dropped on Friday. I wanted to binge the entire new season before I told you about my Netflix set visit. YES...I got to meet and talk to screen legends Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin!
This was my first visit to a set, and it is easily a highlight of my blogging career.
I'm listening to my tape (on my phone) from the interview while I'm writing this.
The first moment they got, Lily and Jane came pouring out of the gorgeous beach house shouting, "The bloggers are here!" Lily came out first...and Jane came running out behind her saying, "Don't let them meet her first, or they won't like me!"

The chemistry and friendship between these two is apparent both on and off screen. It was so delightful to watch season 2 after seeing them together. Their friendship is so real.
I was so floored that the beach house is completely constructed on a Paramount sound stage. I fell in love with that beach house from the first scene. It is every bit as marvelous as it is in the show. There's even a beach!
Jane and Lily were able to sit and talk with us for about 30 min. We chuckled about favorite lines from season 1. "If anyone is going to sit on Ryan Gosling's face, it's gonna be me!" Followed by some discussion about where the Ryan Gosling chair ended up. Jane joked that they could put it in their new office ;)

Jane accused Lily of being a hermit as a follow up to Jane being on the James Corbin show. I love him SO much, and so does Jane.

Both Jane and Lily were very affected by Jane's season 1 line, "It would be easier if you were dead." Jane said that one really resonated with people.

It was amazing to hear all the projects they have in the works. These are two unstoppable forces of nature. At the time, Lily was promoting Grandma, and Jane was getting ready to film with Robert Redford.

Jane jokingly chalked up how amazing she looks to "Good genes and a lot of money." She also said her body doesn't feel younger, but her mind feels much younger. Lily chimed in that she's never grown up. Jane said Lily was strong and unbelievable and going 150 mph.

When they talked about going to Sundance together and Lily said they were written up in the newspaper as Thelma and Louise...THAT is the next show I want to see! Lily declaring that the high point of her life.

They joke, and they laugh, and they are living life. While Lily said working together again, felt like yesterday, Jane said it felt like a lifetime ago. Lily said she could see them getting out of the old make up trailer from 9 to 5. They both chuckled over Dolly getting made up in her state room. (Oh to see Dolly on Grace & Frankie...Please make that happen for Season 3!)

Jane said when she was coming up someone who wanted to be a star would NEVER be on television. While Lily joked she was on television. BUT, now it's so hard to get movies made so a lot of the talent and good writing is going to TV. She said she never imagined at this age she'd be doing a television series let alone a series with Lily.

I can't thank Netflix enough for giving me the opportunity to meet these wonderfully inspiring women. Do yourselves a favor and watch season 2. It. Is. SO. Good!

I want to leave you with Jane's words, "Everybody told me I was over the hill...but what I've found is that there's another hill...and a mountain after that, and then there's a valley..."

I always get sad when I've binged the full season of a show because now I have to wait for the next season. That said, there is SO much good on Netflix now, I'll share with you what we're watching on Netflix...

The whole family watched Hotel Transylvania 2 and Minions. I've been given screeners access to Season 2 Bloodline (I'll tweet out and FB once I've dug in!) AND, I'm really looking forward to Season 1 of Chelsea coming out May 11!

What about you...what are you binging?
