This weekend, I taught myself Poker Face (Lady GaGa) on my acoustic. So fun!
I'm all...
Can't read my, can't read my,
you can't read my poker face
my poker face
mah mah mah mah mah mah poker face
oh oooh oh oh oh oooh oh oh...
Tonight at dinner Little Man says: "Mommy, what's a poker face?"
I'm like: "Uhhhh...it's a face you make when you play poker?"
Little Man: "Show me your poker face."
(I make a kooky serious card player face)
I say: "Little Man, show me your poker face."
Hmmmm...not sure if that'll cut it in Vegas;P
HAHA but it is a pose made for Hollywood!
ReplyDeleteI will see you in NYC! Shake off the funk, babe!
ReplyDeleteOh but it's so cute it will distract everyone!
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh, that's the "I've got a pair of Aces" look, right?
ReplyDeleteDistracting them with cute ALWAYS works. And, haircut! He got a haircut! (Sorry if it happened a while ago and I'm a doofus for just now noticing.)
ReplyDeleteI don't know... with that expression he'll keep every one at the table guessing.
ReplyDeleteAnd then you grabbed him and kissed him all over his poker face !!!
ReplyDeleteThe only way I can control my poker face is to have a few beers to relax. The only problem with that is that I can't control my drinking.
ReplyDeleteHa! I had a similar conversation with my 3YO! :)
ReplyDeleteIt took the whole ride to school to explain it. I wonder how much of it he actually retained...I started out with a deck of cards...

I thought I had blogged more about the convo but I guess not. Oh well. I need to do more writing and less photo posting...
It was great to see you at BlogHer10! I still consider myself in my freshman year...maybe I can skip a grade next year! :)
He's so money, and he doesn't even know it. =>
