Bottom line, the school was told the scary things were not out during the day. There was a witch that rivaled the Wicked Witch from the Wizard of Oz (that is one scary broad). I know when The Little Man is begging for nap time, he has reached his limit:( My brave little soldier made it through the day, and this is what I saw when I parked the car and turned around...

I'd have done the same or else gone through a drive through and enjoyed a snack or beverage while the kiddies slept!
ReplyDeleteAwww, poor kid! Expecting a nice pumpkin field and gets a witch, too. (Better not let him see my scary Halloween blog up right now. Or especially my profile "Mombie" pic. He'll be traumatized!)
ReplyDeleteI've been known to crash in the car, or read a book, rather than wake up a sleeping kiddoe. Of course, those days are long behind us now : )
ReplyDeleteDoes that count as alone time for next Thursdays post... lol.
ReplyDeleteI would have napped too! I never ever take my son out of the seat if he's asleep....its precious time!
ReplyDeleteGood for you!! I never thought to do that. I always make the mistake of getting them out and then trying to make them go to bed when they get in the house.
ReplyDeleteAt least there was a good ending to the day!
ReplyDeleteAwww that stinks! They should TOTALLY know better than to do that for really young children. I'm so sorry. :(
ReplyDeleteBut yea you for taking advantage of the primo nap time!
good for you....
ReplyDeletei have snoozed plenty in the car if that is where i can get it....
Honestly, turning around and seeing your babies asleep in the back of the car is one of the best things ever! Like others, it's definitely allowed me to get a quick cat nap or (some days, better yet) an unencumbered ice cream cone from McDonald's! These days, I'd love to drive my kids around in hopes they'll fall asleep. Who cars gas right now is nearly $2.50 a gallon!
ReplyDeleteWhen they're both asleep I can TOTALLY see the resemblance! I never noticed it before...
ReplyDelete2 sleeping children is a treasure that should not be ignored.
Aw. I want to take a nap now.
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how many times I have sat in the garage and snoozed or listened to the radio while my little one slept. No way am I waking her up just to go inside.
ReplyDeleteI have thought about that so many times, but never done. I have brought books with me in case I get alone time. I have also pulled into my driveway and run into the house to get my computer and return to the car to keep the little ones sleeping.
ReplyDeleteI am sooo trying a nap next time.
Good for you! What a cute photo.
ReplyDeleteSooo adorable!!

Oh no! Poor baby! Now, am I talking about him or you? You decide.
ReplyDeleteYou are so smart!
ReplyDeletejust curious did you venture to the one in Geneva? We used to live in Carol Stream, and when my oldest was about 9 months, we visited one in Geneva that would have scared the daylights out of anyone, and right smack dab in the middle of the day. The teen playing the part was getting a kick out of doing just that to any unsuspecting elementary and under aged kiddo. At the time, mama bear came out and he got quite an ear full, lol. All's well that ends well right? And it looks like a nap was certainly in order after a very long morning!
ReplyDeleteGood for you! I'm going to tuck away this idea for some day in my future....
ReplyDeleteNow I want a nap.
ReplyDeleteGood for you! A well deserved nap!
ReplyDeleteThese look so good. And the presentation is so cute!I really recommend other to read this article .
