OMG...would you look at this! Just look at this!!! Where did this grown up girl come from?!?
This is Miss Peach's first school picture...sooooo cute.
On the way home Miss Peach drops this bomb on poor Mommy...
Miss Peach: "You know, I'm getting to the point where I don't need a Mommy anymore." (skipping down the sidewalk to smell a "pretty flower")
Me: (as my heart sinks into my stomach) "What will Mommy do if you don't need a Mommy anymore?"
Miss Peach: "Don't feel bad Mommy, that's just the way it goes. Babies grow up and become big girls and move out. It's OK though, 'cause I'll get a phone, and you can call me anytime you want:)"
So, she'll be getting a job downtown next week, and I think moving into a nice condo in the Gold Coast;)
If anyone knows how to slow her down, can you email me...ummmm, now?

What a cutie! And just tell Miss Peach that little girls will ALWAYS need their mommies. I know I still need mine!
ReplyDeleteWhen this popped up in my Reader I was like "WOW!" She looks SO grown up. She's so adorable!
ReplyDeleteYou can't stop it. She will get a phone (which you will pay for for longer than you want to) and you can text her whenever you want. I do it myself everyday.
She's soooo cute! If I figure out how to slow mine down, I'll let you know.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! She really is growing up! What an adorable first school photo.
ReplyDeleteSlow her down nothing, I want to move in with her. How do you feel about arranged marriages? I've got one very handsome 3 1/2 year old grandson, he can be Rod and she can be Patty Mell, they'll rule the world, or at least the Gold Coast.
ReplyDeleteDoes she need a 9 year-old roommate? Because mine is telling me that she's NEVER moving out... :/
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the look on her face in that pic! Priceless!
That reminds me of one morning before grade school with my son. He cheerfully informed me, "I'm done!"
ReplyDeleteTo which I replied, "Oh really? You got dressed, brushed your teeth, finished high school, graduated college, got a job and moved out?"
He just gave me that a dazed and confused look and said, "Uh, no."
We laughed like hyenas.
Oh, you poor thing! At least you know it will still be awhile!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh, what a cutie. Don't worry, she'll ALWAYS need a mommy.
ReplyDeletesigh...just hold on and continue to be her mommy. she'll soon realize she isn't as big as she thinks she is. ♥
ReplyDeleteIf I knew the answer to that problem, do you think two of mine would be in college right now?
ReplyDeleteAnd that is a great photo!
My heart would have stopped. She is so cute and looks so much like her mommy!
ReplyDeleteShe is so precious and so stinkin' cute!! And if you're into arranged marriages, I have a little guy about 4 years old.....haha!
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable!!! (and oh so smart with her "I'm a grown up" talk) :)
ReplyDeleteThat is the such a perfect first school picture! I don't remember having ANY school pictures that looked that good! :) What a cutie-pie... and what a heartbreaker, too! Aww... poor you! ;)
ReplyDeleteShe looks JUST LIKE YOU!!! So freaking cute!!
ReplyDeleteI totally understand how you feel. I look at my kids and think who do these kids belong to? In my minds eye they will always be little.
ReplyDeleteDoes that sweater come in ladies' sizes?
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little portrait!
ReplyDeleteOur girls want to live with us forever. They said they are going to get married and live in our house with their husbands and families. I tell it's okay, but my husband is trying to convince them it's good to live next to Mom and Dad, not with Mom and Dad, once you get married.
ReplyDeleteThat was so cute! So funny how when we are little we think we don't need our moms. Then when we grow up, we need our moms more!
ReplyDeletecute! my kids always say they are never leaving me! (Yeah for me) or they say they are going to build a house next to mine!
