LOST, Grey's, and a Bad Day.

Holy brutal LOST Batman! I so did not think that guy would execute Benjamin's daughter!!! What is the deal with Ben and Mr. Widmore? What "rules" was Benjamin talking about? What's with the smoke monster...does Ben just keep it in a cage in the basement?!? Why does Mr. Widmore think he owns the island? I got nothin', I'm just gonna sit here, watch it, and shake my head. On the shallow front...could Sawyer get any hotter? Seriously!!!
Did you all watch Grey's A. before LOST? Lord, what a waste that show is! Hated it:( For what it's worth...I am so rooting for Rose (is that her name?). Meridith is a total buzz kill, and she doesn't deserve McDreamy. Rose is cool, happy, and she has the hair I wish I had...She deserves McD...That's just my two cents. This show better pick it up fast, 'cause I am seriously losing interest!
I don't know if you can tell from my tone...but I'm havin' a day! You know I joined the healthclub right? Well, Miss Peach has been taking a dance class (it's her first drop off class). It's a creative movement class. Today was her third class. I walk by the little window every once in a while to check in (she can't see me). I'd say half the time Miss P. is participating, and the other half of the time, she is twirling and spinning and doing her own thing. Today after class, the teacher sits down and tells me that Miss P. is "disrupting the class"..."She says no a lot." Well folks, she is two and a half! According to Spock (pg. 270) "Negativism reaches new heights and takes new forms after two...it is hard to get along with a child between two and three." I am just so pissed off! This woman is teaching a class to kiddos 18months to 3 years old...and I am supposed to believe that my child is the one kiddo disrupting the class!?! Good Lord lady, they are two years old...have you met two?!? She made me feel like I am doing something wrong in the parenting arena...Ugh! So now, I have to participate in the class next week, and show Miss P. how to follow along. That just seems wrong to me...Why can't Miss P. spin and twirl when she wants to? It is creative movement for Chris'sake! I am so not signing her up for this class again...Thanks for letting me rant, I needed to get that out.

  1. Does she have kids? You are lucky to get 5 minutes out of a two year old. You might want to find an instructor with a reasonable expectation for the tots.

  2. Hmm, I've never played Risk, but wasn't that what they were playing in the beginning? What if this is all just some game between the two of them? And "Australia is key"? That's gotta mean something. Or I'm just overanalyzing like I tend to do.
And I read that Meredith and Derek are definitely going to be together so maybe that leaves poor Rose with McSteamy, who "doesn't" like her.

  3. Thank goodness you didn't say anything about Lost that I didn't already know. I haven't watched the last few minutes yet, but I couldn't stop myself from reading.

A disruptive two-year old? Clearly you are a horrible parent. I've never met a disruptive two-year old. Nope. Never. ;-)

  4. Umm. Isn't that strange? This woman clearly has not been around 2 year olds enough if she thinks trying to get them to stay focused is the primary goal. Isn't the point of kiddo class to wear them out? Woman needs therapy.

  5. I'd say the teacher can't possibly have much experience with little ones. I don't blame you for being annoyed.

  6. That woman is obviously clueless about kids... or maybe she's just really boring and Miss Peach is way too advance for her. Either way, what an awful teacher.

I couldn't' even watch all of Grey's. Bored to tears!

    But, LOST! Ohhhhh...

  7. I have to say I was disappointed in Grey's last night. I had looked forward to this show since the writer's strike and was sadly upset about it. Meredith is becoming more of a whiner each day.

  9. hmmmm I would be a little annoyed at the teacher as well. I would definately go and participate next week to see what sort of teaching style she has. it may be entirely inappropriate. Probably is, in fact. sigh......

  10. I am sorry to use the hate word...but.. I hate teachers that call out children in a children's class hell there are some adults in classes that end up disturbing the others do they get called out too? Come on!

  11. I never watched Lost, although I really wanted to. I just can't commit. And I don't quite get how new people appear on a deserted island. Strange. I guess I'd have to tune in to figure it out.

Dance Teacher = Looney! There is no way a 2 year old should be lining up in a row and following step by step instructions! That's absurd. Tell her you paid your money to have her babysit for the 45 minutes, you are busy!

  12. I'd be scared to think what my boys would do in a dance class. There would be disruptions every 10 seconds. Sheesh!

  14. Wow. The teacher expects to be left alone with all those little ones and no parents? I'm going to teach a sign language class next month to little ones. PARENTS MUST ATTEND. I'm not that dumb.

  15. I've got nothing either but you can bet I'll be digging up the spoilers. Ben and the smoke monster...OMG!

And I've never met a two year old that didn't say no a lot. Heck, my one year old shakes her head "no" to everything.

  17. You've got to be kidding me - she's 2 1/2 for crying out loud - that lady has issues.

  18. I agree with you, Grey's was definitely disappointing. However, LOST was AMAZING! My husband says the Black Smoke monster is his favorite character and we were both freaking out! Obviously Ben and Widmore have known each other for awhile, if they have "rules" that they follow. I think that Widmore must have been funding the Dharma initiative or something...maybe he lost a lot of money when Ben messed with the project and everything. That's my theory anyway. I actually wasn't surprised that the guy killed Alex...I thought Ben was being naive to think that he wouldn't harm her, but maybe that was in the rules they kept talking about.

  19. I am still routing for that dumb Meredith. Why is that?!

That creative movement teacher is an idiot. There I said it. I once pulled my then 2 year-old daughter out of a art class because they INSISTED that she always use a paint brush. But my little darling wanted to use her fingers, her hands... she is a creative. and frankly, i didn't need them squelching and suppressing the next Picasso. Icky place.

  20. I used to LOVE Grey's Anatomy because as I have stated in my blog many times McDreamy is from Maine! Go Maine! But it's getting a little old with Meredith, she's a nut case, can't make up her mind on anything. She doesn't deserve him. As for Lost my other most favorite show, I am totally Lost!! I can't believe that guy shot the daughter either, I don't like Ben but I did feel badly for him. Yeah what is that smoke thing?

Sounds like the dance teacher has a problem, these kids are two for pete's sake!

  21. Oh how I love LOST. And Sawyer - well I forget my name when he comes on the screen. :)
I saw it coming in regards to Alex but I didn't buy Ben's remorse.
