Practice, Practice, Practice...Poor Sissy.

How was my weekend? Well, I worked and worked on Illustrator. I think I can finally say I'm getting there:) This was my self portrait...Without boring you to tears, I will tell you that I have decided to put a portfolio together for some stock photo sites. I have also decided to put together some illustrations on my design blog that other designers can use. Kind of like NW Designs Stock Photo (still thinking about that). So...I spent the weekend illustrating up a storm. Here's a hot chicky I worked on...
As promised last week, here is me if I were a princess...
Yes, we are watching entirely too much Disney around our house these days!

On the bummer front...Sissy's apartment got broken into last week:( I can't believe it, just literally two weeks before she moves into a better apartment! They took her bike, her laptop, and some cash. It just makes me so mad...Sissy and I are convinced it was an inside job, maybe a maintenance guy, or the building manager. The police came and fingerprinted her apartment, but they don't expect to find anything...Where is Horatio when you need him?!?

    Those look fantastic! I say go for it. The hot chick reminds me of an actress - I just can't think of her name at the moment..

  5. We had an apt broke into once - it was awful knowing someone had been in our space - they took our laptop too. Luckily we had renters ins because got a new and better one, the one upside of a break in.

  6. "looks like sissy is no sissy" (cue Horatio placing his glasses on his face).. SOrry I couldn't think of any other catchy catch phrase in which to make fun of CSI. love it! BTW__ love the illustrations. I need you do one of a mom with spit on her shirt, and a face full of make up. hahah.

    Its terrible about Sissy's apartment. Good thing that she's moving though because it must feel awful living in a place that has been broken into.

  22. It is so terrifying to have someone break into your home (even if you aren't there). You just feel so shaken and violated. I'm so sorry for Sissy.

    But she must turn this situation around. There are a lot of handsome detectives out there. She should swing by the police station OFTEN just to check on the case. You know.. see how it's going.
