Work it Out...or Off!

After last weeks treat-fest, I thought I should share my park workout with you all. Kinda balance the yummy with the workout! I take the kiddos to a little fenced in park by our aptartment. They play while Mommy works out. The nannies usually look at me like I am nuts. So what, it keeps me in my jeans, and you know how I loves me jeans!
1) squats- 3 sets of 20
2) walking lunges-3 sets of 20
3) step ups-3 sets of ten on each leg
4) calf lifts-3 sets of 15
5) pull ups-I can do four, I'm working on getting that number up.
6) push ups-3 sets of 10
7) park bench dips-3 sets of 10
8) v-sit abs-3 sets of 20
9) plie squats-3 sets of 20
10) one leg dead lift-3 sets of 10
11) single leg squats-3 sets of 10 on each leg
12) power walk-30-60 min.
13) stretch-hold for 30 seconds

  1. I need to start a regular routine. For the most part, I just take walks each evening to get my exercise.

step ups on one leg? How can you step up on a leg?
I couldn't pick up a calf! I would have to find a farmer and mother cow that would allow such a thing. Pick her up 15 times! She would bleet her arse off!!! probably kick me too!

  46. That's great! I like to work out during the day too (in the house) ....and Cameron looks at me like I'm nuts. I jog at night with the dog, and I just do different things during the day like free weights, The Firm video, or just pushups and crunches. If anything, it at least makes me feel energized! I doubt I could do a pullup. Four pullups is really impressive! I remember in Junior High just trying to hold myself up on the bar...and shaking like a leaf.LOL

  47. That is a great idea and use of your time! You go girl!

  53. When might you do a TT on best South Park episodes

    ReplyDelete
  54. Wow, that would be good, but hard to do...I haven't been watching the recent ones...Suggestions?

  55. This is a great list. What's even better is that all of the exercises can be done in the comfort of your own home. Even the power walk can be done in place with a bit of extra arm pumping. This would be perfect while watching your evening show or watching the kiddos in the play room. We're getting ready for a trip to my parent's home. 16 hours in the car! This is great for breaks while the kids play. Great Job.
