I thought about a photo like this for this week but I don't own any of the lovely fun shoes on the right for contrast so I didn't think that my photo would turn out nearly as creative as your's did. ;-)
Interesting observation. Last night went to Red Lobster for dinner. While waiting did a staticial analysis of shoes...of the over 42 individuals, only three were wearing something other than sneakers (1 sandals, 1 western boots, 1 suade). Then I looked around at who was wearing jeans...again about four not wearing them. Combine the two data points, only two people were not wearing both sneakers and jeans. Oh, how times have changed. In the old days, no one would have gone out for dinner without getting dressed up.
-inclined toward or fitted for actual work or useful activities...part of the definition of practical. Guess which ones are the "practical" shoes...

You can actually do a lot of practical things with those red pointed-toe shoes -- kill roaches, for example....
