Bloodline Season 2 OMG! #StreamTeam

I'm not gonna lie. It's hard for me to write about it. I love me some Bloodline. Like...LOVE.
Those Rayburns just can't seem to stay out of trouble. Season 2 picks up right where Season 1 left off. I don't want to spoil anything, and if you haven't watched Season 1, GO, binge watch it NOW. It is so painful to watch the bad decision making spiral out of control for these characters. But it is SO good.
John Leguizamo is so bad...and creepy...and BRILLIANT. The dread just seeps into every episode. There are times when you just want to tap them on the shoulder and say "Stop. Just STOP."

These characters are flawed. You want to root for them...but they've done terrible things. There's no way there can EVER be a happy ending for any of them. I don't know if there's a Season 3 in the works, and I'll be sure to let you know if I hear anything. Season 2's finale...just left me staring at the screen. I. Did. Not. See. That. COMING!

Who are my Bloodline fans? Have you binged the second season? I need someone to commiserate with!

I'll Have a Pastrami and a Raspberry Lemonade Shake

I took the kiddos out to lunch to celebrate the end of the school year...FINALLY! I think Chicago has the longest school year ever. They were ready to dive into summer for sure! Now where to go...
Yes...this is a job for Potbelly's! They have a new pastrami sandwich that I have been excited to try. You see, back in the day...when I was a trader...I used to get pastrami sandwiches at the deli across the street. Cut to many, MANY years later, and I haven't had one in ages. Holy this fit the bill Batman!
We each enjoyed a Frozen Raspberry Lemonade Shake too. Um...THE perfect summer drink. We're a bit spoiled since the original Potbelly's is literally up the road from our town home.
My team has ABSOLUTELY no game plan for the summer...but I feel many trips for lunch in store.
If you're looking for something yummy, you can find Potbelly's on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Cheers to summer!

Pizza Night With Jet's!

You gotta know, being in Chicago means pizza is serious business! We enjoy pizza night at LEAST once a week in our house.
Yesterday, it felt like everything was coming down on me all at once. I had a client call from California, a friend dropped off their Golden Retriever Emma for us to babysit, THE LAST night of homework for the school year...Let's just say cooking dinner was not in the cards.
THANK YOU Jet's Pizza for coming to the rescue! The kids and I devoured two 8 corner pizzas in nothing flat, and there were smiles all around!
If you haven't tried Jet's yet, they are opening their 20th store in Chicago. To celebrate, on June 20, they'll be offering 20-cent slices and $2 small pizzas at all locations. (We'll be taking advantage of that FOR SURE!)
To keep up with Jet's, you can find them on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram. Now, if you'll excuse me...I'm going to have some leftovers for lunch?!
