Spooky Buddies and Deep Dish Pizza #StreamTeam

It is actually turning into fall in the city. I love it. Long weeks into relaxing weekend nights with the kiddos and Netflix.

While I love a good deep dish pizza (I am in Chicago ya know.) I also LOVE a good homemade deep dish pie! Turns out, if you have a cast iron skillet, this is NOT a tall order.
Really, it is SO easy it's ridiculous.

Here's what you need:
-premade pizza dough of your choice (I like Trader Joe's)
-Pizza sauce (I like a lot)
-mozzarella cheese (again...a lot)
-toppings of your choice (I like pork sausage, cooked first)

Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
Coat the entire pan sides and all with olive oil. Press dough into the pan, be sure to press the sides up about an inch.
Add toppings of your choice and pop it in the oven. Cook 20-30 min. Done and done!

While the pizza cooks, the kids and I choose a family movie. I don't know what it is about The Buddies, but my son just loves them. Those little pups have him rolling on the floor every time. While they are not my daughter's cup of tea, she does love a good Halloween movie, and Spooky Buddies fits the bill! (I mean, cute puppies in Halloween costumes!)
Seriously...look at how cute they are!

If The Buddies are not your cup of tea, there are some other really fun Halloween movies perfect for the family. You might want to check out:
-Escape to Witch Mountain (Showing my age, LOVED this movie!)
-The Munsters (Series...LOVE.)
-Mummy I'm a Zombie (My daughter is all over this one.)
-The Nightmare Before Christmas (Again. LOVE.)

And that's just a few. I'll admit, I'm too scared to watch the horror movies. What are you streaming coming into Halloween?
