Chocolate Covered Popcorn, and Watermelophants!

I know Chicago has the l-o-n-g-e-s-t school year ever. At least, it seems that way. The kiddos don't get out until June 13-ish.

We've been buried in speech contests and science fair. That said, we did get a moment for family movie night. We hit Netflix, and BOOM...there it was!

We LOVED this movie in the theater! How can you not with all the foodimals?! I am partial to the Buffaloaf and the Hippotatomus. Miss Maggie has quite a fondness for...

the Watermelophant! Seriously...if this actually existed...I think we would have a bunch of them.

Since I have already seen the movie, I took a moment in the middle to whip up some Chocolate Covered Popcorn. I am no chef, but THIS is super easy...and yummy!

All you need is:

• wax paper
• Act 2 Kettle Microwave Popcorn
• Palmer's Almond Bark Chocolate 

Easy prep:

1. Pop the popcorn and spread it out on the wax paper
2. Melt two or three squares of chocolate (takes me about a minute in the microwave)
3. Drizzle over popcorn and wait for it to cool a bit
4. Enjoy!

While we completely loved Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2, when the kiddos went to bed, my husband and I dove into the Season 1 finale of Sherlock. Wowzers...what an ending! Trying to carve out some time to start season 2...What are you enjoying on Netflix?
