Pure Imagination


Every time this commercial comes on, I stop.

First, this is one of my favorite songs ever. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory with Gene Wilder is a movie that molded my childhood. I. Love. It! That song...Love it!

The thing about this commercial...How do I explain it. I just saw it after The Good Wife.

I looked at Husband and said: "This is what I want to do. Ya know? I want to be able to bring my mad Photoshop skills to video...and then just make cool stuff like this. I have no master plan...just want to make cool stuff on my computer, and set it free."

Husband: (and here's why he's a keeper) "I think that's really cool...you can do it:)"

Now you know.

    What a good man you've got there! And he's right, you can do it.

    BTW, I love Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (the original) you can't beat Gene Wilder and I liked the original oompa-loompas best.

    Funny thing about when I saw that commercial last night during the good wife was that I was watching w/ my babysitter (long story of why she was there) and I was like, have you seen Charlie and the Choc factory? And she was like, "yeah, with Johnny Depp?" Uh, that made me feel old. I say YOU GO! You rock!

    Hello !
    I am now living in another world where they speak another language ( I am from the US) and the television commercials are mostly all lacking ... big time.
    So in addition to enjoying your blog ... I got to see a Reeeally good commercial !
