Well, we finally got snow in Chicago! The kiddos woke up, looked out the window, and BEGGED us to let them go outside and play on the patio. "Pahleeze, Mommy Pahleeze can we, can we, can we???""Mommy, do I have to go to school today?"
"Yes Miss Peach, you have to go to school today."I think The Little Man could have spent the entire day shoveling snow with his little John Deere tractor. (Which could turn out to be a good thing given the Chicago budget, they might need him:P)

Cute, I wouls think you get snow all the time.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! If The Little Man wants to head to Iowa tonight, we have plenty of snow out there that needs taken care of, and no school tomorrow, so my boys could be enticed into getting him to help build a snow fort!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like fun! We have cold rain - no fun.
ReplyDeletehaha - have enough snow now? I hate snow! My kids LOVE snow - we've been out (freezing my behind off) for 2 day snow!
ReplyDeleteWe're still waiting for our first real snow. We got a dusting last weekend that was gone within a day and was barely enough to play in. Just enough to make a real mess of things.
ReplyDeleteWhat a helpful little guy! Evan and Corinne were out for a looooong time yesterday and LOVED it. They mostly liked finding chunks of ice and smashing them on the pavement...
ReplyDeleteMy husband is currently buried in the blizzard conditions in Wisconsin, probably won't make it home today as planned. When I showed the news footage of the storm to my son and told him that's where Daddy was, his response was "Maybe that snow will come here??"
ReplyDeletePlaying in snow before school ROCKS! What a cool mom you are. :)
ReplyDeleteafter driving to work in unplowed snow for 3 years in the early morning hours, i have no affinity for snow right now. i've given myself a 2-year snow hiatus which doesn't end for another 9-10 months. but you guys have fun!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, did you say "finally"? I am dreading the day when it starts snowing and it keeps piling up until you can't go out without actual snow boots.
ReplyDeleteThough I have to say, the fun kids have almost makes it worth it :-) Yours sure like they were having a blast!
My kids want snow sooooooo badly!! It is has been 19 degrees and we have record lows. So cold! I'm expecting all of my pipes to burst. But no snow...
ReplyDeleteAwwww, I love snow days!! Cute kids!!
ReplyDeleteThose pix bring back memories. I used to live in Chicago!
