Ask, and Ye Shall Receive...

OK, since I got more than one request for pics of the wedding dress (when it fit)...here ya go...This is me with my niece...(did I mention I LOVED the bouquet as well...LOVED) The thing about the dress, the little details were lovely. Loved the ribbing in the bodice...
It really was quite a simple design. The fact that it was made for me, meant it fit like a glove...a lovely white wedding glove;)
I had to show the back as well (before the rib cage expanded:P) It had just a pinch of flounce in the back with a train that pinned up after the ceremony. (Notice the female judge that married us...she was on the short list for the next supreme court justice...very cool lady!)

One last shot for you...We were married on the top of a building that overlooked Grant Park. The view was AMAZING...plus, we were lucky enough to have the most beautiful night of the summer. Knowing Chicago weather...we were really lucky:)

Now you know...

  15. So beautiful. Sigh.

I'm just a little surprised you didn't make a dress yourself with your mad seamstress skillz. But who could turn down a dress like that?

  24. Gorgeous! Love the rooftop picture! It amazes me how clothes fit so differently post baby even when the weight is the same. Crazy!

  25. Beautiful dress! I have a cocktail dress with very similar boning in the front, and guess what? I can almost get it zipped until the top couple of ribs. It's been about 6 years, but I weigh the same! I guess this is just one of lifes mysterys.
