*sigh* I will tell you right here and now...Motherhood is kicking my a**:P Tubby days for the The Little Man are just exhausting...
I don't know why, but he just HATES tubbies. Let me tell you...it is a two man job. Both of us are now sitting in front of the TV drinking some yummy 2 buck chuck (Trader Joe cheap wine) and decompressing from the tub.
Now then, I have had enough wine to admit a few things...First, I am not proud...I'll tell you...I have been watching American Idol...Like. A. Junky. That said, Adam Lambert, is steamrolling over the rest of the pack. There, I said it.
So, right now, we are watching Rescue Me. Why do I love this show? I LOVE this show. Here is where I think I'm weird...I'm sitting here, drinking my wine, and the intro to the show comes on. I say to Husband..."I love this intro...it's one of the best intro's on television...Love the song...love the cuts...love the font."
Did I just say "love the font"? Realization...I am a font junky. Not only am I a font junky...but I have, at the tender age of 3 1/2, turned Miss Peach into a font junky...crazy, I know. The other day, I turned on Aladdin. In the intro, the movie name comes across the screen...What does Miss Peach say?
"Mommy, I love the A of that font."
That's my girl;) Now, pardon me while I have another glass of wine...

i love 2 buck chuck. it's so good for the money!! the merlot, in particular.
ReplyDeleteshe's funny!!
My oldest son when through a period where he hated taking a bath... it was hard as heck getting him and bathing him without a huge battle. We went so far as to bring whipped cream in the tub to pour into his mouth for fun. Yeah, seriously.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is too cute! Seriously! How funny is that she says 'font' and knows what she's talking about!
I always forget about that show . . .
ReplyDeleteRescue Me is one of the best damn shows on television. FINALLY, we have a show we both watch!!
ReplyDeleteI love AI too and I agree - Adam Lambert is heads and tails above the rest of the competition (and feel free to say that with Simon's accent.)
ReplyDeleteMy husband is a bit of a font junkie too. However he loves to criticize or laud the fonts on baseball uniforms.
We have no problems getting Aaron into the bath. Its getting him OUT that is our problem! By the end of it, everyone is hot and grouchy....including Aaron.
ReplyDeleteThat's ok to be a font junky there are worse things :)
ReplyDeleteI love a good font. Have you seen Helvetica (the movie) yet? it's awesome.
ReplyDeleteciao,
rpm
After all that I can only think of one thing. How are you keeping your wine cold? Please tell me you are not drinking it warm.
ReplyDeleteI have never watched an episode of AI. And proud of it, hee hee.
ReplyDeleteBut Rescue Me? I'd seriously consider giving up a kidney to keep that show on the air.
Substitute the tubbies for nap-time and I am right there with you. Ugh, painful. And four more hours until I can drink wine. sigh.
ReplyDeleteAwe two buck Chuck... my long, lost friend!
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious. Ah the stuff we pass on to our kids. This week my TWO YEAR OLD picked up an item in a store and said "Aw, so cute" and it was me but in a squeaky high-pitched voice.
ReplyDeleteYour blog. So fun.

ReplyDeleteLIFE is kicking my a**. And I'm on my second glass. Is it Friday yet?
ReplyDeleteoh that is too funny! i am a font junkie too! Miss P is a girl after my own heart!
ReplyDeleteI had 2 girls and then the boy before I thought to hand that sweet nakid baby into the shower for hub to wash and hand him back all fresh and squeaky clean. *helpful hint for hub, don't soap up whole baby at same time, they get slippery* but in the long run was the best bath tip I ever ran across!
ReplyDeleteI too am a font junkie, and I LOVE that Miss Peach is too!!
