One Foot In Front of the Other...

First, how did I make an *ss of myself at the art site? I thought I was submitting my info/request to a forum page. Long story short, I ended up submitting a request to the advertising department:P (Note to self, don't email after 10pm) So, the next day I get contacted saying the minimum price for advertising is $5000 a week. Holy moly $5000 a week! Can I charge that on my site? Wow! I felt like an *ss saying sorry, I am a dolt...never mind:P

Second, how did I redeem myself? I got right back up on that horse and called my old college (the second art degree I recieved) I talked to the head of the Communication Design program. He. Loved. My. Site!

I had only called wanting to post some flyers around the department. He asked if I could come to the school and address about 100 students with my project! How cool is that?!? Not only that, I explained to him how the work would have to be a vector image and of professional quality. He said he completely understood, and that he had at least 4 students in mind who did excellent work and would be perfect for the project!

Yay team! Hopefully, this will work out and I will have more contributors and different styles of illustration soon *fingers crossed*

I am just going to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Eventually, I gotta get there...Score one for me!
