Three Things

Well, I have a few things kicking around in my brain, and as usual...I'm putting them here...
First, I was at the health club today. The kiddos were in the stroller, and I was digging around for my id card so we could get in. The Little Man was in the front of the stroller, and the guy behind the desk was goo-gooing at him and trying to get him to talk. Of course The Little Man was being Mr. Shy Guy (which is totally normal for a two year old). The guy behind the desk says "I think he has Aspergers Syndrome." What!!! Who says that?!? What kind of idiot makes a joke like that?!? I shrugged it off and chalked it up to you obviously have no sense, and no children...but it p*ssed me off!!! Idiot!

Second, I was talking (yes, actually talking on the telephone) to a fellow blogger (Musings of a Housewife). I read her blog, and it always seems she is doing something cool, and blogging related. I asked her why/how she always has so much cool stuff to do? It came down to there are just a lot of cool bloggers in her area that do stuff. Imagine that...cool bloggers doing stuff. This got me to wondering...and I'm asking this question (yes, the wheels are turning)...Where are my Midwest bloggers? You don't have to out yourself, I'm just wondering who the Midwesterners are?

Third, on a totally shallow front...yes, I am still torturing myself with Grey's Anatomy. 'Eh, it's been an OK season, I mean at least Izzy isn't sleeping with George:P I just had to say...I loved seeing Denny tonight! *sigh* Denny. I loved Denny, that was the height of Grey's, and good TV. Did you watch? Wasn't it good to see Denny?

    And Jo-Lynne is always doing cool blogging type things. Sigh...makes me wish I lived closer to a metropolitan area!

    Loved the Denny. hating Izzy's hair.
    I have a friend with a kid with Asberger's.. I would have told the guy, "Nah. wish he did. we'd get ride all the rides at Disney with no lines.."

    The dude couldn't just say "what a cute child" instead he has to say something asinine. I would have been a smart A and asked him where he got his medical degree.

    I'm a midwest blogger (Chicago area), but so uncool. So, I can't help you there. :)

    As for Grey's... eh. When they didn't kill off Grey, the show kind of 'jumped the shark' for me. Although I do love two characters on the show, but can't remember their names, the one was playing doctor with a robot, the other is the black surgeon of the female persuasion. When they are on the screen, I somewhat pay attention.

    I think that the Denny story line was the only good one that Izzy has ever had. The others have all seemed too shallow.

    second....i meet joanne at the leapfrog event. i joined njmoms blog and it has been such a wonderful community to be involved with.

    i have given up on greys - just didn't keep my interest anymore.

    Wow, I can't imagine not saying something to that guy. People like that do not learn unless they are told how rude they are. I have a copule of them in my church.

    I am a midwesterner. Middle of Minnesota. Close enough to the cities to do things there.

    I know two boys with Asperger's Syndrome and it is the least funny thing in the world. He is an idiot. I am a midwesterner - St. Louis, MO. I was a member of the St. Louis Blogger's Guild but couldn't ever make any of the meetings or activities due to other stuff in my life. Maybe once the kids are older.

    I :heart: Denny. Every single time he comes on the screen I tear up. I think when I am an old lady sitting in a nursing home watching the fish tank....I will think about Denny.

    Gawd, I haven't even read your roast yet, but the baby patrol was so cute I just clicked on your blog and came on over...I'll run back to David's and read the roast in a bit...next time you see the idiot at Work Out center, do the world a favor...punch him in the mouth...maybe it will teach him to keep smartass remarks where they belong...and that's not out in public...hope you find your midwestern bloggers...I'm sort of South East myself...well not sort of...I'd dead on South East...beautiful wee ones!
