Gossip, just pointless gossip...

I can gossip here, right? It's just running group gossip...but I'm curious what you think. OK, remember Aussie Girl who got married after two weeks? Well, Brazilian Doctor Woman told me she got a ride home from Aussie Girl. Miss Thing drives a Mercedes...a Birthday present that her Husband bought her in the two week dating period! Let me say this again, they were dating TWO WEEKS, and he bought her a MERCEDES!
You know...good for her. She found her Sugar Daddy, yay team, right? Well, I was chatting with her during the recovery run, and she was talking about his kids! Kids? Yeah, he has a 7 year old, and a 3 1/2 year old (Dad and former wife share custody). That is where I thought this story got odd. If you have kids, is it OK to just pick up some chick from another country and marry them? I don't know, just kinda rubbed me the wrong way. Granted, I don't know these players at all, but still it struck me as odd. How PO'd would you be at your ex-husband if he picked up a girl and married her in two weeks? I'd be hoppin' mad! I'm just sayin'...

  1. I would be a bit put off because that person was going to be a part of my kids' lives and have an impact on their welfare. I'd have the chick checked out.

  5. seems very predictable to me. loser guy can't stand being alone, finds and latches onto a woman. buys her lavish gifts. she can't imagine life with out him. boom they tie the knot.

    kids, I am sure his kids were the last thing on his mind. I'd bet her mercedes on it.

  7. I haven't checked your blog in awhile. Still love it! Don't think you're a narcissist. At all. would hate for youto work so hard running and still think it's not enough. AND I totally believe in mind over matter. you've gotta believe you can do it. you can. sugar daddy & aussie girl obviously have problems beyond the scope of this blog: )

  11. As long as I'm getting my child support, I would not be mad about the Mercedes. However, I would set some ground rules about leaving the kids with someone he had just met.

  12. I would be livid. But then I wouldn't really have a right to be. They are his kids too. And he does have a right to his own life. But I would still be mad.

    Go You!! on you marathon training. I can't wait to hear how you do in the Boston Marathon.

  13. Shoot, I've been with my husband almost 10 years...I've yet to get a freaking Mercedes. I'm just doing my best trying to get a Nissan! Geez!

  21. That is a bit odd. I knew someone that met a guy on the internet, met up with him once & then moved in with him. Got married shortly after, almost the entire marriage he was inIraq, when he got back he dumped her for his ex. She even gave up custody of her daughter to take care of his 3 boys. Had to move back up here & start totally over. It took her about 2 years to get back custody of her daughter & the only reason she dis was because the dad became addicted to cocaine.

    That is cool she got a Mercedes that quick though. Obviously without knowing any of these people & totally making a generalization, I bet the guy is a cheater. He seems to jump in pretty quick & I bet he is never happy.
