Holy LOST Batman, and Something for Me

OMG!!! Did that preview for next week give you goosebumps? I am shaking!!! First, I don't know why, but I loved Hugo and Ben sharing a candy bar:) Second, I kinda called it...I knew the guy in the cabin was Jack's Dad, but he didn't turn out to be Jacob. Move the island??? What does that mean? Loving John Locke, but I don't care about his past. I am thinking that the guy that doesn't age (Richard) is just time traveling, right? So it's not that he doesn't age, it's that he's time traveling. I wonder how far this concept goes...is Jack's father really dead, or is he time traveling, or Charlie, or Horace??? I just don't know. Freakin' scared of military guy, ahhhh! Did you catch that the Doctor was alive on the boat, but had already washed up on the island dead? I get there's a time shift between reality, and the island, but how can he be in two places at once??? What do you all think...what did I miss???!!!

I must tell you, going back to tennis has been the best thing I ever did! I have been hitting better than I ever thought I would. The best thing is that once a week, I get to do something for me. The kiddos seem to be having a great time in the playroom, and I think it's good for them to have away from Mommy time, and it's really good for me to:) Do you guys do anything just for you? I highly recommend that you do:)

  1. The grocery store where I like to shop has a supervised playroom. I can go grocery shopping by myself or with the Domestic Goddess in peace and tranquility. Simply the greatest invention since frozen pizza.

Still putting up pictures of Vegas on the photo blog :-)

  4. What was up with Claire being all "stoned" or whatever??? Totally trippy!!!! I think the whole time travel is some sort of consciousness-teleportation thing. I read this blog http://blogs.chron.com/tubular/archives/lost/ and Therese does all this awesome analysis of each episode. It's like being back in college in one of those literary analysis classes where you are waaaay over your head sometimes. . .and I LOVED them sharing the candy bar. I totally missed when Christian became all big and important with the Jacob situation. . .just give me more Desmond! All Desmond, all the time, brutha!!! Aye!

  5. Do something for myself?? Hahahaha that's a good one. Oh you weren't kidding. Sigh

Last night had me scratching my head. Move the island? Why was Claire there all weird and why didn't they answer any questions?? Ben's comment about being chosen was funny. Is next week end of season or do we have a few more weeks?

  7. Tennis! I just started playing this past fall for the first time ever and I have fallen in love with it. I play on a neighborhood team and I just finished private lessons until my girls go back to preschool. It's just for me and I could play every day!

  8. Once I finally get this house settled since moving in, I will have my writing and my quilting just for me. Once I have the surgery, I will add tennis or walking too.
Of course, I do need a tennis partner so someone in the family will have to join me for that.

  9. I really don't. My husband gets to go out 1-2x per week and do something just for him. But not me. I'm not bitter or anything. Mwhahahahaha!

  10. claire's dead. 100%.

i think the thing with the doctor is just showing how far off the time is...at the island, he's already washed up dead...but at the boat, it hadn't even happened yet.

  11. I learned how to sew. I had always wanted to learn - so I finally bit the bullet, bought a machine, and a bunch of books.

It's an expensive habit - but my girls now wear really adorable original skirts and dresses. And their duvets are the exact color scheme and fabrics that they requested.

  12. So glad to hear about the tennis (sorry, I never get to see LOST). I would love to do something every week without a toddler, but instead, I runaway to NYC alone some weekends while she stays with hubby ;)

Wishing you a fabulous mother's day weekend!

  13. Sometimes, when I get a chance and spare time, I sleep at night.

Seriously, I love to ride the horses but just don't make the time that I should.

  14. Lost: I just got to watch it and I'm wondering if the guy that doesn't age is Locke's father. Even though Grandma said she didn't know him, I bet she did. Locke's mother was seeing someone twice her age...that could be him. Hmmmm.
