You Said Who Won?

Holy great Superbowl Batman!!! Did you watch it? I didn't think the Giants had a chance in the world of winning this thing. Their defense sure showed up and stopped Tom Brady (good, I'm not a Giants fan, I was just rooting against him). That last drive by Eli Manning was amazing...Way to keep your cool and win the game! How psyched is that family to have two superbowl winning quarterbacks? So cool to see Payton Manning in the box cheering on the bro. Made a big ole mess of chili, watched the game on the new HD TV (George), and the team I was rootin' for wins. Does it get any better than that?!?

  2. As a Colts fan, I have to say it could get a bit better. But, since this is the way things had to happen,

    Hell Yeah, this was awesome!!!!!

  4. We were at a Super Bowl party, but I hardly saw any of the game. I spent most of my time on "toddler patrol". (sigh!)

    Yea! Giants!

  8. It was insane! I was thinking it was the most boring Superbowl ever until that fourth quarter! I really didn't think Eli had it in him. Color me impressed! That drive, he looked just like big bro! But my favorite play was when Brady got THUMPED on that last sack. Man that had to hurt!

  9. I bleed black and gold, so I have to say, watching Brady go SPLAT! was just about as much fun as seeing the Steelers win it all. Splat! Splat! Splat! See? That's just fun.

  10. It was an awesome game, I crawled out of bed to watch it and am glad I did, though the screaming hurt my tummy.
I loved the fact Brady kept getting sacked but the end with Eli Manning was outstanding.

  15. I'm not a major football fan but I have to admit...by the time Manning did what he did, I was jumping up and down with joy and hubby looked like the world was coming to an end when I did that..

*okay I was also rooting against Tom Brady, myself, which made the win all the more sweeter

I really think the Giants deserve it and it couldn't happen to a better team...they were humble, they had great players and the camera view of Peyton jumping up and down and rooting for his brother like that..I mean..come one..can't get any more American apple pie than that...

I can't even imagine what it is like at the Manning house right now...but I'm sure it was great and couldn't happen to better people (hmm...you would think I know them like every other american who watches Peyton act like a clown on those fun commercials..lol).

It was honestly the best Super Bowl I didn't want to watch but had to for hubby's sake...LOL

  19. I wanted Peyton to win, so since he couldn't his brother was the next best thing. I'm just glad Tom-Tom didn't.

  20. The kids were decked out in their Patriots gear for our junk food Superbowl Party. I finally had to cut them off from the Oreos since they looked like they were going to vomit. One guy fell asleep before the game ended so he didn't know the outcome.

I was scared to tell him in the morning what had happened. After I told him his first words were "You didn't let me eat all the Oreos!"

    Phew.
