First, I want to thank everyone for wishing the babies and I well through our miserable flu. I am happy to say we are all on the mend. Yeah team! Moving on...You know I am a bit of a TV junkie, right? Here are some shows I'm missing, the writers strike is over...come back soon!1) CSI Miami-I am completely addicted to this show. Husband thinks I have a bizarre obsession with Horatio. I need my CSI Miami...come back to me Horatio!
2) Grey's Anatomy-I know it is quite possibly the worst TV ever, and yet...I miss it. Now, I will go sit in the corner with my dunce cap on:(
3) Women's Murder Club-I love Angie Harmon, and this show started to grow on me...Now, I can't even remember what was going on.
4) Desperate Housewives-Again, I am hanging my head in shame for admitting this.
5) Samantha Who?-Another show I started digging...Where'd it go?
6) Dirty Sexy Money-Not great TV, but it amused me...can't find it.
7) Boston Legal-I don't know if they ran out yet. I love this show and I haven't seen a new episode in a while. Did they run out to?
8) Private Practice-I have to ask myself why I watch so much garbage on TV. Here's another really bad show I watch.
9) Entourage-This show is on HBO. They seem to have there own schedule going, so is it coming back...I don't know?
10) Rescue Me-Usually when Nip/Tuck ends, Rescue Me starts...Are they coming back, no. They are out of episodes:(
11) CSI-Gone, gone, gone.
12) The Office-not addicted to this show, but I'll watch a new episode if it's on...
13) Curb Your Enthusiasm-I put this show on for Husband...he loves it.
The networks are determining on a by show basis what shows are coming back and when. On the up side, eight new episodes of CSI Miami will start airing March 24, Yay!
It's been a strange season. My husband and I have ODed on Drew Carey reruns! Not a bad thing....
ReplyDeleteSome of the only shows I watch are CSI, CSI Miami and Grey's Anatomy. Although Horatio is the one I can't stand. He gives me the creeps. I watch despite of him.
ReplyDeleteI really, really wish that CSI would come back. The original not the Miami one, Horatio kind of freaks me out a bit, LOL. :) But, I really wish CSI would come back.

ReplyDeleteI love CSI and CSI:NY. CSI: Miami, I can do without. All Horatio can do is turn sideways, take off his sunglasses, and diliver a cliche. It reminds me of Jack Webb and Harry Morgan in the TV series Dragnet from the 50's. The framing of the scenes is a throwback to Miami Vice whch got the idea from music videos.
ReplyDeleteBecause I had plenty of other TV to keep me occupied (sports, DVDs, TCM, reruns, etc.), I wasn't too bothered by the writers' strike. I do look forward to the return of "Pushing Daisies" though.

The only ones I watch are Desperate Housewives (more out of habit than anything else) and the Office, which I enjoy almost as much as the original.

Personally I'm addicted to LOST, so I'm getting my weekly sustenance there.
I wonder how the writers' strike will be handled with AFN. We get shows several months late here, anyway, so I don't think there's been an effect yet, except for talk shows which are aired only a day late.

I really like Dirty Sexy Money. I was watching it on the abc site. But then I got behind and when I checked back again they had taken them down. Hpefully I'll have the chance to catch up somehow!

Oh yes, I miss the CSI's, Grey's, and Private Practice - along with several others. The extra time to get stuff done (blog) in the evenings is nice, but I do miss my shows!

ReplyDeleteI've been surviving on way too much reality TV and I'm feeling inadequate with too much HGTV. But, I'm thinking I can probably tile a bathroom and redecorate my Florida room. Wait, I don't have a Florida room.
I have to admit that I can't stand Horatio and so will only watch CSI Miami if I'm forced. But I LOVE Rescue Me. And I miss Desperate Housewives too. And Grey's. Boston Legal had a couple of new episodes earlier in the month. God, I watch a lot of TV. Also, may I plug my favorite show, Friday Night Lights? It's over for the year, but if you can catch the reruns or DVDs it's totally worth it.

ReplyDeleteAll the shows were cut short due to the writer's strike. They didn't have enough episodes to carry us for long as the strike happened shortly after the season began. But, they should be returning soon! Look on the bright side: to buy any of this season's shows on DVD will be, like, 8 bucks rather than $30 plus :)
I don't know how I missed your TT, but here I am. Better late than never. The shows you list, I don't watch. I've seen'm, but I do what I can to stay away from anymore TV than I already watch. LMN is always on here. I have to force myself to turn it off...oh and the wives one. Love, love that show, but seemed to always miss watching it when it was on.

I love the shows you are ashamed of! And there is just something about Dirty Sexy Money. I honestly think that Boston Legal is one of the funniest shows I have ever seen! Never met anyone else who watches it.
