Sweet Escape...
What a wonderfully relaxing day...Husband has a conference in Fla., so I came down for a quick weekend getaway *bliss*. Mom is watching the babies (thanks Mom). I slept in until 9:00, woke up and watched debate recap on Meet The Press (did you watch it, Holy Obama is the next President Batman), had a yummy breakfast, and spent the afternoon lounging/napping by the pool (77 degrees). Seriously, I am so relaxed it's ridiculous...Sushi tonight and a quick flight back to reality tomorrow. It's good to get away, don't cha think!

Sounds like HEAVEN to me. Sleeping in until 9, lounging by the pool? HEAVEN!!!!
ReplyDeleteLucky you!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful day.
I think you are in Paradise... 77 degrees, lounging by the pool, NO kids, in January????? Wow!
ReplyDeleteWow, normally I'd be jealous, but heck it was 37 degrees here today! I got stuff down outside in the heat!
ReplyDeleteAnd as for sleeping in, the kids didn't start screaming until 7:15, a real weekend miracle...wait...you story does sound better.
Fine.
I wish I was there :)
ReplyDeleteHoly Florida! Green with envy over here... Can I please live vicariously through you until tomorrow? I could use the getaway :)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely night in FLA!
Lucky you. Color me jealous. I did watch the debate last night. I thought Obama did a great job, he had a major score with his point about the next president needs to be someone that the entire country can believe in and rally around. Both B. Clinton and GW Bush have half the country hating them their entire presidency and that has been a major problem.
ReplyDeleteStill I am a die hard Hillary fan. I thought she won with her point that, wanting to change America, poverty, education, healthcare is not enough. Where is Obama's plan? Does he even have a plan? Good intentions are not enough. Hillary needs to learn how to use words like "folks" she sounds like she is talking down to America sometimes. I thought Edwards did great too. Richardson needs to take a public speaking class or drink some coffee.
I was upset that the rep got questions like why are you a better candidate than obama, and the dems got questions like what should we do about pakistan. I wonder why only softball questions were given to rep? is abc biased? Sorry to take over you comments....
So jealous! It's about 20 degrees here, icy, and windy. 77 degrees sounds like heaven right about now.
