Are You LOST?

Brace yourselves...Are you ready for the two hour season premier of LOST? I am, and I am not! What is going on with that show. Actually, I have about a million questions, but I am going to whittle it down to 13. Here goes...
1) Who, or what is Jacob?
2) Charlie died, right...what was the last communication he made with Desmond?
3) Who was in the casket?
4) Who is Kate's unseen mate in the post-island flash-forward?
5) What's the deal with that four-toed statue from the Season 2 finale?
6) Where are the children the others took?
7) Who were the ice dudes at the end of season 2?
8) Who is the rescue ship?
9) The last thing Ben said was "if you make that call, every living thing on this island will die" WTF?
10) Is Jack's Dad alive?
11) What is the deal with the smoke monster?
12) What's the deal with the Richard guy that doesn't age?
13) How in the He** is the network going to deliver me the full 16 episode season...which I have waited so patiently for...when they only have eight episodes in the can?
Answer away my people. Enlighten me...I am LOST!

    I am LOST. I watched the premier of this show (the series premier) and that is about as far as I got. I hear people compare this show to Sopranos and 24 so I am sure I would love it. I just hate the perpetual story line that never goes anywhere. I will have to rent the DVDs

    I've never watched Lost, which makes this list of questions sound really really weird.

    Maybe I need to rent seasons 1 and 2. But when would I watch all that??

    I have seen just about every episode, but I'm still lost. And I have no idea how you managed to whittle the list down to 13. I have like 400 questions that better get answered in the next few years.

    I love it while I am watching it, but then the glitter and glamor fades away and I am frustrated by the lack of development of the plot. But so excited for the review tonight and the premiere tomorrow.

    I have never watched Lost...I need fluff TV in the evening. Lost requires me to pay attention, kind of hard to do when I am blogging. LOL

    Love it, Love it. I can't wait. No need to rent, it's all online! I really should have watched the last few episodes leading up to last season's finale. Just reading your questions, has me going, "Huh?"

    I'm with rachelt . . . I'm LOST, too. I watched a summary show before the second season and was sucked in. But, with school--grading, grading, lesson planning, and grading, I stopped watching. Too much brain power. I am going to rent the DVDs so I can catch up. Wait . . . cindyptn said it is all online. Cool!

    Ooh so excited!! All your questions are great and I have many of my own. I also read that Kate is pregnant? I didn't catch that in the flash forward but that's what I heard. And that Richard guy, so funny I always thought the exact same thing. But I'm thinking he must die because that actor is on Cane now. And dang it, I want my 16 episodes too!!!
