The Freaks Come Out!

Let me start by sayin' Halloween is my thing. I love it! I found this party about five years ago, and I have just dragged anyone who would go with me ever since. It is in a huge warehouse with about five rooms. The best part is...costume required. I love that, you should dress up for Halloween. I am not a party animal, I go out once a year and this is it. Husband stays home with the babies and I go out with the girls. It's just so fun!I mean...look at my girls! Aren't they the cutest? Some are married, some have boyfriends, some are single...it doesn't matter, cause we leave the boys at home and go out and fly the freak flag!!!That's Sissy smilin' and me poutin' (I look scary after a couple Red Bull's and Vodka). The girl's know I am the Halloween junkie so they are good enough to go along with my idea for a costume. My theory is "strength in numbers", not one french maid...five. How do you know if your costume is a hit? That's easy, if strangers come up and want their picture with your gang, you are a hit. Yes, this year the french maids were a hit! Yeah!!! So let's take a walk-about and check out the rest of the party...These chickies were the best! Six girls dressed up as toy soldiers, so cute...I loved their hats! I don't know what the girl in the middle is...maybe dead red riding hood, just don't know?Moving on to this...It perplexes me. Women ran from these guys...I don't know, let me just say the men in tights give me the hebe jeebs...and we'll keep on walkin'.These poor little dudes. They looked about twelve to me. It was so sad that they tried to hit on Sissy and I. Just sad, these little half Kiss boys. All I have to say is, it takes more than standing next to a chick and glaring at her to pick her up. Sissy basically swatted them away with her feather duster, she is the best!
This guy was scary! Ahhhhh, let's move on quickly.... Oh no, another scary guy...move on, move on, move on....... Why this party you ask??? I will tell you, one word...band! This band is the best live band ever! I love them. I mean come'on they play everything from Journey to Black Eyed Peas to Gwen Stefanie to Footloose. From the moment they take the stage, all you want to do is dance. This year they delivered as usual. Picture it, a pack of french maids in front of the stage waving feather dusters and rockin' out! Such a good time!Oh Halloween, it seems like it just started and then in a blink it was over. When all is said and done it leaves me with the same thought every year...What am I going to be next Halloween???
