2. Seinfeld (so close to number one)
3. Designing Women (loved that show)
4. Simpsons (how could you not?)
5. CSI Miami (Oh Horatio...)
6. Law & Order (I am junkie)
7. Melrose Place (I think I was the last one watching...I turned out the lights)
8. Dynasty (we used to watch this in the frat house basement...don't ask)

10. Mash (maybe should be higher)
11. The Price is Right (I watched that show every day when I was a kid)

13. Old SNL's (not feeling it so much today, but so many funny moments)

HAHA I am a TV junkie too and there is no way I would be able to pick only 13 to list. Happy Thursday.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you, Nap Warden! I'll have to poke around your site a bit; add you to my reader, maybe.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate that none of these shows include the words "Dora," "Diego" or "Wonder Pets" (which is a show I don't think I get the appeal of).
You picked great classics. Moonlighting!!!
I was more of a "Newhart" fan than a "Bob Newhart Show" fan. But I'm a young'n. Good list! Happy TT!
ReplyDeleteI am a SAHM tv junkie too. Great List. I have two brothers and we watched a lot of those action shows growing up too, like A Team, Dukes of Hazzard, Bionic Woman, Wonder Woman, etc.
ReplyDeleteGREAT list! I'm so with you on the first three and the last two. ('Great name, incidentally: Nap Warden.)
ReplyDeleteYou've got some great ones there...brought back a lot of memories! There was a time when I wouldn't miss an episode of "Moonlighting" or "Designing Women." Now the only two shows I really have to watch are "Lost" and "American Idol"!
ReplyDeletegreat post!! I love all reality shows! I am a total tv junkie and the bad thing is that I have noticed that my 1 year old has picked up this bad habit.
ReplyDeletemy very first 13 is up ----

Love it! Especially #1 and #2. I'm not sure who would have took that spot in my list.
ReplyDeleteHello...you forgot "Charmed" on the WB.
ReplyDeleteMust admit, I don't care for most of these shows (or never saw them). That Man, my husband, watches MASH all the time so I'm kind of sick of it.
ReplyDeletegreat list, I would add Law and Order SVU, lovin some eliott stabler ;)
ReplyDeleteI think I still have a copy of the Melrose Place SOUNDTRACK somewhere!
ReplyDeleteI would have to add Little House on the Prairie. Sniff...
I did a very similar TT earlier this month. We had a few that were the same. You have a great list here!
ReplyDeleteLoved Cheers.
ReplyDeleteI'm a TV junkie too - love your list! I would put M*A*S*H higher though, LOL. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I am a total TV junkie, too!!! I know there's only 13 spots, but I think I'd have to add Friends in there. I just loved that show. Seinfeld and CSI Miami are two of my all-time faves. I can't get enough of Horatio and his comments and sunglasses!
ReplyDeleteI love the old SNL's too with the Coneheads, Roseanne Roseannadana, Two Wild and Crazy Guys...OMG--that was some good TV!!!!
Fun list!
Happy TT
Jessica The Rock Chick
Great list. Only ones I never really watched were 8 and 12.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my TT.
There are some great ones and Cheers and Mash rank right up there. Have a great TT. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a T.v. holic I must admit. Where are The Golden Girls, and those old amazing ones Wonder Woman, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Bionic Woman, Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Little House on the Prairie.... Oh My God I Am SOOOOOOO Old. Great List.
ReplyDeleteCindi
My TT is up and running
I am definately with ya on 2 and 11!!
ReplyDeleteI love your header!
It would be next to impossible for me to settle on just 13 favorite TV shows. However, your top 2 would definitely make my list.
ReplyDeleteMe and a friend would watch 90210 and Melrose Place when they used to air back to back on Wednesday nights on FOX. I had to cut Melrose Place loose after Jo's baby was kidnapped twice within a span of a few weeks. As for Moonlighting, I used to love that show... until Dave and Maddie hooked up.
Great TT!! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletelove boat, happy days, laverne & shirley, etc but of course these were from childhood. I got copletely sucked into Beverly Hills 90210 for a couple seasons (and Melrose)
ReplyDeleteOh that list was a great trip down memory lane! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteLaw & Order is great!
ReplyDeleteDesigning Women... I used to watch that with my mom when I was growing up.
Great list! Happy Thursday. :)
ya i was gonna say charmed cuz i remembered us watching it till prue died...then it kinda died after that but it was still an ok show...idk if you watched a lot of gilmore girls but i have seen an entire season when megan had them on dvd and it was a good show...and gma was surprised i remember a lot of the shows you listed...
ReplyDeleteI liked a lot of the same shows: M*A*S*H, Designing Women, & Seinfeld. I really really liked thirtysomething when we were first married and Hill Street Blues when I was in college. A lot of your shows I haven't watched or I only watched them a few times. We've gone through a period of not watching television, so I'm not at all current. Our favorite sort-of current show is Monk, which we get on DVD from the library.
