The kiddos have been hoping for this great weather to hold out through Halloween. Last year, my team when out in a downpour to trick or treat. They got more candy than I could have ever imagined when I was a kiddo. Every house we went too all but dumped their entire bucket of candy into the bags because my kids were one of maybe five who actually went out and trick or treated.
Cut to tomorrow. We're supposed to have 30 degree weather, 20 mile per hour wind, and rain. SO...THAT.
I have no doubt my kiddos will go out. Free candy ya'll, is what my kids will say. They will pile on the coats and head out into the mire to knock on every door and chant, "Trick or Treat!"
I have no doubt the candy will again be in the arena of insanity. That said...when we get home, and kick off our cold wet shoes and curl up in front of the TV to dump out the candy and start the great trading of the loot, we'll most certainly order Chicago pizza, (I am sure I'll be in the mood for a good deep dish after mucking about in the rain all evening.) and turn on Netflix.
I already have the binge watch cued up...The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. AKA Billy and Mandy.
Mandy is the crabbiest girl you'd ever want to meet. I have NO idea why that speaks to me ;)
They have all 39 episodes, and I am thrilled. (Don't tell the kids, but I may be a little more excited than they are for our Billy and Mandy marathon.)
