FOUR

You are looking at my Little Man, looking at his Rescue 911 Birthday Cake.

The Little Man is FOUR!!! I know we all say it, but it really seems like it was just yesterday, that he was a little football that I tucked under my arm and carried everywhere. He was only 5 pounds 7 ounces...now he's a tank!
Living in the city...we have seen some pretty crazy kiddo Birthday parties. I don't have anywhere near the money to pull off one of these extravaganzas, but I really feel if I did, I wouldn't. I'm not sure if you noticed...but in this pic, Little Man and I are both in our jammies.

Yep, we had a pajama party for Little Man's fourth Birthday. He always wants to have jammie day, and this was SO fun for all his friends. Little Alan had the coolest Batman pajamas on. Marty wore the cutest monkey footie jams on the planet. Of course Miss Peach had a Cinderella nightgown on (would you expect anything less?) Yes, I wore my favorite sushi pajamas (I would live in them if I could)

My bottom line...I don't think you have to spend a fortune to have a fun party...
...and I'm pretty gosh darn sure The Little Man is with me on this;)

Those crazy parties happen in the 'burbs, too. Not at my house, though. NO WAY.

  10. Happy (belated) birthday, Little Man! You're absolutely right. Especially at this age, they won't remember the hug elaborate parties. A pajama party is PERFECT. (I may be using that one someday soon!)
