#43 Back porch August afternoon

Daily Chuck...

While poor, poor Dooce figures out what to do with all the apricots that have fallen in her back yard, Mr Smokey can't figure out whether he wants to be inside...or outside. Seriously, do you have one of these animals? It doesn't matter what side of a door he's on...he just sits there...like this...waiting to be on the other side:/

Oh, and fwiw...I wasn't so wowed by Pulp Fiction;)

  1. God yes. Although our cats don't go outside. But woe betide the person who shuts a door on them. It gets ugly.

  2. Mine liked to do that with the pantry too. I found him one afternoon, after searching inside and out, sleeping on a shelf with the paper towels and napkins.

  3. My cat no longer goes outside, but when she did, yes. Apparently the life is better on the other side of the door.

  6. I have a friend who says the best way to keep her dogs happy is to open the patio blinds. They just sit there all day staring outside. They don't want to go out. They just want to watch.

  7. Ah, yes. We have four cats, three of whom can't decide where they want to be. The food is always better on the other side of the door.

I thought I had a great plan, I left a window open so they could come and go as they pleased, but they still stare at the door, they will come in the window and go directly to the door, or vice versa, argh!

I love Chuck's face, I want to scratch his ears like a rarely seen aunt pinching kids cheeks.

I think I know what I want with my blog. As much as I can ever be certain that is. Email me when you get a chance.
