If you read me, you know a few things...

-I have an odd fascination with the McMansions in my hood.
-I live in Chicago.
-I attended a little bloggy event in Wisconsin.

Well...I stumbled upon a little place that rents McMansions:/ Now what?

I'm sticking my toe in the water here. A few of you have expressed interest in having a little Chicago get together. I'm curious here...

Who would be interested in a little casual meet up, say like, in June (or whenever)? If you are interested, would you want it to be just a dinner...an overnight...or two nights?

I'm talking accommodations like this......or this......and this:OThese places can accommodate (depending on which we choose) anywhere from 12-20 people. Price...we are looking at roughly $100 a night/per person.

So...thoughts? Interest? It's totally cool if you're not...but even cooler if you are;)

    If the dates work out for when I'm in town I would love to come (if you allow born and bred Midwesterners who fled for warmer weather.) Keep me in the loop! (no pun intended.)

    Me! ME! Me! I want in! (Number 3 is my favorite :-) ) I would say one night but it wouldn't take much arm twisting to get me to stay for 2!

    Oh I want to be a yes! The conversations would flow much better in a McMansion, as opposed to a crowded restaurant for just dinner. Like Girl Scout camp only much more posh.(and without an outhouse)

    I am ALWAYS up for a meetup, but of course, there ARE restrictions - that whole boy/girl thing, you know. That said, I live local, I have a car - in fact, if the crowd is big enough, I have a 7 passenger Sienna, so I CAN act as chauffeur, guide, airport pick up person, yada, yada, yada. So, to that extent, I'm in.
