New Coat Fever

I bought Miss Peach a new coat. Do you remember that new coat feeling when you were a kiddo? I so do. I remember once, my mom bought me an Atlanta Falcons coat (yes, I was a total tomboy). This coat was ruby red, with black fur inside, and the Atlanta Falcon logo on the front (no I was not an Atlanta Falcons fan, for some reason I loved this coat...can't explain it now).

Well, Miss Peach is FAR from a tomboy. We bought her the most A-dorable pink faux shearling coat. Would you believe $20 at Old Navy? Yeah!I swear to you, she had jammies on when I put her to bed (really...she did) When I went back to check on her later, she was sleeping in her new coat, and tutu. (I ask you, how could I say no to this tutu? It was $8...so cute.)

    That is cute! I remember a coat I loved when I was seven - it was red and I thought it was a "little red riding hood" coat.

    So cute! I can barely convince my boys to put their coats on when the windchill is -20, so I'm going to show them this photo as proof one should absolutely be dedicated to the power of a coat!

    I just ordered a new coat for N. b/c the hand me down one was a tad short, and the one from last year, while it technically fits, was seeming a little worn. Really, I just wanted her to have a new one. I am passing on my own coat obession already!
