All day today...
"Mommy, draw me a castle with a Princess, and a gown, and a tiara, with jewelry."
This thing is like 4 inches squared!
"Mommy, draw it, draw it, draw it..."
Yeah, I'll get right on that:P

Ha Ha Ha Ha HA HAHA!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for reinforcing my decision NOT to purchase this today! ;-)
I have never seen a princess etch a sketch. God, my girls would love that.
ReplyDeleteSo is there anything left in this world without princess decals?
all i can think of is will ferrell in elf writing his good bye note in script on the etch a sketch
ReplyDeleteHahaha!!!! My boys have tiny little Doodlepros and are constantly asking me to draw big trucks. There is no room for that kiddos!
ReplyDeleteYou draw all those fabulous headers, surely you can draw a princess and a castle in a 4x4 inch etch-a-sketch!!
ReplyDeleteJust draw the castle and tell her the princess is SLEEPING in her room right now.
oh. my. GAWD.
ReplyDeletefirst of all, a princess etch-a-sketch? awesome!!!
second? owning one? not-so-awesome.
LOL! I guess it doesn't matter what size the drawing area is, they'll still ask you to draw. I thought I would upgrade from a small 4x4 to just HUGE pieces of paper and I'm still drawing trains all day long.
ReplyDeletehahhaaa....I got stuck buying this same thing leaving Walmart...ughh, cnat find it now though. :)
ReplyDeleteIm sure you had the time to draw it for her in between the hundreds of other things youve got going on.
You obviously don't remember when you had one of those as a kid. A waste of money for youngsters.
ReplyDeleteTry stick on clothes on a cardboard dolly, they can detail with that without your assistance.
I actually hid Aaron's from him the other day because of the exact same thing, only it was a house he wanted me to draw.
ReplyDeleteHa. Now I have another stocky stuffer. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteMaybe not though. I am not much of an artist with and etch-a-sketch.
At least it's super cute! I want to see your masterpiece...
ReplyDeleteI can't draw a freakin square with one of those things, so I'd totally like to see you get your art on. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLOL Sorry Girl, well at least you can draw....
ReplyDeletehahahahaha... I laugh, because it would have been the same story here.
ReplyDeleteServes you right for buying the world's most difficult to handle toy!
ReplyDeleteI found Etch-A-Sketch maddening as a child. I can only imagine how frustrating it would be trying to draw something for my very finicky four year old!
ReplyDeleteProbably 12 years ago or so one of the kids got an Etch A Sketch for Christmas at Grandma's house. I proceeded to write my name on it in beautiful cursive, one of my few talents, and then my sister tried to do hers. And couldn't. And then there was this big Etch A Sketch write off that involved a lot of cursing and competitiveness (we have that kind of relationship) and then my mom took it away from us. We were in our late 20's/30's at the time mind you. The Etch A Sketch can make you lose your shit.
ReplyDeleteAck, head would be exploding.
ReplyDeleteAnd they refuse to give up! My son wanted me to find a long lost truck today and probably asked me about 700 times with increasing volume.
ReplyDeleteLOL!
ReplyDeleteYou know how girls can be toots.
ReplyDeleteDon't you hate when they get a toy they want YOU to play with!?
ReplyDeleteOoops - you know I never could draw much more than squares of squiggles with that thing. :) You probably rock at it!
