I gotta say, I don't get the dynamics between siblings. My bro and I have a great relationship. I remember playing together as a kiddo. I think we got along, I suppose I'd have to ask my Mother about that...
I hope The Little Man and Miss Peach become friends. The Little Man loves his big sister:) He says it all the time. The thing that bums me out is Miss Peach always says "I don't like The Little Man." It makes me so sad:(
So, I was in the kitchen the other day, not blogging;) I hear in the other room...
Miss Peach: "Little Man, you are my best friend."
Little Man: "Yeah!"
My heart melted. Of course, two seconds later, she went right back to beating on him...but for one moment...they were best friends:)

Adorable picture! What a sweet story, sorry the moment didn't last longer for you...
ReplyDeleteI bet when they're a little older they'll be good friends.
ReplyDeleteQuinn always says, "Liam's bad."
ReplyDeleteBut the two of them crack each other up, especially when we're trying to eat. Or when they're in the bath tub!
Definitely try and hold onto those fleeting 'best friend' moments, they don't seem to last long around here, either. Being an only child myself, I never realized how much siblings can fight. It's good to know it's not just MY kids...
ReplyDeletei think she secretly loves him very much.
ReplyDeleteawww, well as a mom of 3 teen girls and a 7 yo girl, I can tell ya that the fighting and then friendship will prob. be rotating through the years, but they will always love. your pic is really precious!! LA
ReplyDeleteAww, that is so sweet! I'm willing to bet they will be very close.
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the sweetest post I have ever read. awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.....
ReplyDeleteawe. moments like that are what keep us moms from losing our minds when they are fighting like animals! i'm glad you got the chance to hear such a great exchange between them.
ReplyDeleteSo cute and very sweet! I hope they stay close as they grow up. Little Billy and Alexis "HATE" each other right now - it's a phase, I keep telling myself - ugh!
ReplyDeleteHave a good week - Kellan
take those moments when they come ... even when they're brief.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if my little boy will ever have a sibling, but watching siblings together just melts my heart every time!
ReplyDeleteoh, I see this in my house . . . a couple of years ago, my son would chase my daughter around and say DS, don't you love me - she was a maniac and just ran all over the place and he couldn't keep up. Now, it is her, begging him to play with her and he says, I don't like girls! cycles!
ReplyDeleteI fully support a big sister's right to beat on her little brother. Makes him tougher.
ReplyDelete(OK, so it totally didn't work on my little brother, but I'm sure Peach will do better!)
Awww sweet! Shark is like that with little Bear. He really loves him, but often says the opposite.
ReplyDeleteAt least they have the moments of love though. Just try to remember those times instead of the others! Haha!
ReplyDeleteIt always amazes me how quickly thing turn around in our house too. One moment they love each other and the next they can't even be in the same room. Drives me batty.
ReplyDeleteShe will find uses for him though. The question is will you approve. I usually don't when Mark finds uses for Anna.
Ok-is she older? Mine USED to look just like this...SAVOR it!!! Now I cant even get them to stand next to eachother...its mostly because of her being a brat to him though.
ReplyDeleteWishin you luck!
My kids are usually best friends. I soooo hope it stays that way since they are all they'll have!
ReplyDeleteBeing an only child I don't get it either. But my oldest two were always very close. Now that they are both 20 they aren't so close, but I have hopes they'll come back together over the years. :)
ReplyDeleteAwe, enjoy it while you can soon doors will be slamming and the words "leave me alone" will cross their lips on a regular basis! LOL Cute pic
ReplyDeleteSibling love is awesome, me and my sister fought all the time, but now she is my bestfriend
ReplyDeleteO and that is adorable picture of them!
ReplyDeleteThat is a precious picture! It's in those moments where the truth is revealed! So sweet!
ReplyDeleteOh this post is just the tip of the iceberg in what's going between my two girls (6 and 4). They used to be the best of friends and for the last several months, all they do is FIGHT! It breaks my heart and I hope in the end they will realize they really ARE each other's best friends. Why does this sibling stuff just kill us as mamas?
ReplyDeleteYou and your brother get along? Really? I've never heard of that. Except maybe once. I hope yours do stay friends.
ReplyDeletePicture taking is Friday. You ready to do some design?
I hear ya...mine show love and "anger" towards each other so many times during the day. But, deep done I really think siblings love each other.
