Olympic Zombie
Here I am, parked in front of the TV watching the Olympics. It's killing me, I feel like a zombie today! I was up 'til midnight last night watching the women's gymnastics. How awesome was that?!? Well done American women! Did ya see it? Yay chicks! Lord though, was there any way to wrap it up sooner? I'm wiped out today...
I'm a little freaked about this weekends run...16 miles:P No matter how you slice it, that is just a lot of running. Start time 6:00am! No staying up until midnight tonight Olympics. I'll keep you posted on that.
Oh, did I mention I found the fountain of youth? Yeah, well I did, and I wrote about it at Blissfully Domestic today...so go check it out:)

I feel the same way. I've been dragging for a week now from watching the Olympics. Yipes. I can't imagine running 16 miles now. I'm struggling with my regular 4!
ReplyDeleteI thought the American women (it sounds funny calling those girls women) were gonna get screwed for sure. The scoring was messed up! But they still won. Yay!
Good luck with your run. Can't wait to hear how it went.
ReplyDeletecan't. stop. watching. olympics.
ReplyDeleteThe Olympics should be considered a holiday. Paid vacations for All!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your run. Can't wait to read about how well you're going to do.
Thank goodness for DVR!
ReplyDeleteoh yes, i have been staying up way to late....damn them. i have to run 6 miles tomorrow and i am trying to get in bed early.
ReplyDeleteI've been a total zombie this week too. But I don't have the Olympic's as an excuse :( I'm just lazy.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your run! 16 miles sounds brutal.
I went to a soccer match, and a Gymnastics competition broke out! You should hear how rowdy it is in the Stadium. I can't image all gymnastic events are that way!
ReplyDeleteI'll be sad and glad when The Games are over. No Phelps but back on a regular sleeping schedule.
ReplyDeletethere is bling on my blog for you
ReplyDeleteHi. I found your blog thru another and I just wanted to say good stuff here! I feel like I am a nap warden at times also. It takes a few rounds before kids finally fall asleep. I used to run before I had kids and now, I can't get up to it. I'd love to though. I never have done any kind of run-a-thons or anything like that. But I sure do applaud you for doing it! P.S. I took your naptime button. LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteYawn...
ReplyDeleteWha? Did you say something? Sorry, I'm exhausted from the freakin Olympics' schedule...
I'm jealous - I've been hearing about but not seeing the Olympics, and everything I hear sounds wonderful!
ReplyDelete16 miles? at 6am. the 7th level of hell for me.
ReplyDeletebut up until midnight? nearly every night for this night owl.
Can't. Tear. Self. Away.
ReplyDeleteOh I can't believe I keep missing the gymnastics. Bugger!
ReplyDeleteWowsers on the running. You're almost there!
I missed the women's all-around gymnastics. :( Darn it! It was the only day I've been able to fall asleep before midnight this week (that 103 degree heat is KILLING all of our sleep!)
ReplyDeleteI am so sad I've missed so much. Was in Maine on vaca and we didn't watch up there. Now I feel like I'm too far behind to start. I have been waiting anxiously for women's gymnastics for 4 years. :-(
ReplyDeleteYep, we're zombies around here too after staying up late watching.
ReplyDeleteWe're zombies too!
