Invisible

It's late, I'm pissed off, I should be going to bed. What a crappy day today was...rainy, gray, yucky day. I'm in the Verizon store today and the team was in the stroller with the rain hood on, which they hate (who can blame them). One guy working in the store, and one customer...me, being helped. Then in storms single important girl. "I have to get to work, I'm already late. Can you transfer my numbers into my new phone?" They then proceed to have a dialog about how it will cost $10 cash to do this. She doesn't have any cash, can you do it anyway...blah, blah, blah. It was like I wasn't even there. She just assumed that my time wasn't worth anything since I didn't have a job to go to. I swear, I waited ten minutes while they went back and forth! I suppose I could have said something, but I just didn't have the energy. Quite frankly, I would have let her go ahead if she had asked...but she didn't even acknowledge me. It just pissed me off. Rest assured, it was just one of many things that made me mad today. I've had it with spring...spring can bite my a**! I'm sick of waiting for you...Bring on summer.

  1. Sorry she ruined your day. Sometimes it doesn't take much. I say the quickest way to get service is to unhook the children and send them exploring in the store. "Sure honey, you can play with that. I'll only be a minute". That chick wouldn't have been able to make it past them. Ha!

  2. Sorry hon.
I'm with Leigh, kids are the greatest Customer Service Tool. We used them to get a better deal on our car :-) I hope today is better, and know this.. you are anything but invisible.

  6. It cracks me up when I remember being single and complaining that I didn't have "enough time" to do everything. yeah, right.

And I use to be very outspoken when people were rude... and I agree with you, this girl doesn't have the energy anymore.

  8. Sorry about your day! The customer service person should have informed her that she would have to wait her turn.

  9. SAHM, I hate people like that, we have plenty of them here too. And shame on the employee that helped her, he/she should have said I'll be right with you. Janet

It's not like you can MISS us what with the trail of cheerios, humongo stroller, and antsy toddler.

  18. So sorry about a rotten day - although it seems that everyone had a rotten day today.

  19. I hate that kind of people. When I was younger, I'd just stand aside and simmer but these days, I have no problems telling the person to step aside and also giving the people who work there a hard time for overlooking me. People without kids just don't understand that there is virtually no 'waiting time' allowed when they are around.

  20. Ugh, I HATE people like that. What drives me batty are the fools that help them anyway.
So sorry to hear this happened today. It would mess my day up too. Hope tomorrow is better....warmer, and drier.

  21. That salesperson should have shown some respect for you, let alone the rude single girl.

    Where are our manners?

  26. Verizon was going to CHARGE you? They did mine for free...
They lost about 50 numbers in the process, but that was my fault...I didn't have them saved right.

Okay, now on to the rude employee...I would not have been as nice as you...and that's all I am going to say about that.
