ReplyDeleteWhat I love about being a SAHMom is that I can stay in my pajamas all day if I want and that playing with my girls is actually my JOB!!!! Now if only I could figure out a way to get paid for it.... Lately, I've really enjoyed helping my older daughter learn to read. I used to get super frustrated, but I'm trying to force myself to explain things more than one way and I think we're both learning new things!
We are always in need of one of those, love the red. As for the best part of being a mom, from first smiles to grand milestones like graduating, I am so proud of my kids, watching them develop into adults, hopefully carrying on the good parts of us, and not the bad (please none of that). The snuggles, kisses and hugs are fabulous too!

What is cool about being a mommy?? Getting a hug from our little one and knowing that we were told we wouldn't be able to have children. We adopted our little baby girl from heaven on Christmas Eve and surprised our family with her at the Christmas Eve and Christmas day parties. Actually, she was a great big surprise too, cause we didnt know that we were going to adopt a baby on Christmas Eve!! So hugsssssssssssss are the best!

I love being a mom, and a grammie. I have 8 kids, 5 I gave birth to and3 are out of love for their dad and yet all 8 are like my own. I am so fortunate to have step kids that love me as mom and let me watch the grandkids. Living away from the ones I gave birth to is hard, but having the love of the steps is making it a lot easier.

The other thing that is kinda cool is that I entertain them. They think I hang the moon and I am not telling them any different any time soon. It is a fully entertaining situation.

ReplyDeleteThe best part of being mom? My oldest son showed me his latest art project about 10 minutes ago..."The Mom Book". He sat and wrote all about me! It's just so neat to be the apple of their little eyes...for a time at least. And watching them grow into their own little personalities...I love it.
Plus, there's all the sleep and pampering and lazy shopping days and nights out on the town I get...wait...no...that was before kids ;) But I still wouldn't change a thing!
I love being a mom to 3 boys. They are full of big bear hugs. Myabe if I had a "pink" flashdrive the teenager wouldn't "borrow" it so much like the one I haven't seen in months ;)

I'm not a mom yet, but my arms ache sometimes for a baby to hold. When I'm holding someone's precious new born and can smell that sweet baby scent, I'm in heaven. It's so precious to have a small child slip their hand in mine, trustingly, or have a preteen come up to me for an inpromptu hug. It's funny, I'm not normally a touch person, but the love and trust and no-barriers of a toddler sleeping (and drooling) on your shoulder, melts me.

I have two special needs children and two, well, "others."
