Who'd Play You?

I'm gonna babble a bit, bear with me I'll get to a point...It is amazing how having kiddos cuts into my TV viewing (no I don't have Tivo). So, if a show is after 8:00, I'm in. That being said, I am looking forward to Angie Harmon's new show tonight, Women's Murder Club. I loved her on Law & Order. So I'm hoping her new show is good. Now I am taking a turn...When I was a single girl, we chicks would go out, have some drinks and mingle. I feel like blogging is kind of a virtual mingle (without the drinks, sometimes). One of my favorite bar questions is "If Hollywood made a movie of your life, who would play you?". You guessed it, Angie Harmon would play me. No, I am not as hot as her, but I generally have her "look"...long dark hair, deeper voice, hint of a southern drawl...Many people saw The Perfect Storm and said "Your Husband looks like George Clooney!" I saw it, he did, lucky me! So Clooney would play Husband...I am dying to know what everyone looks like...So my virtual lounge, here it is. If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would play you? Lurkers join in, this is a fun one! (can't wait for your answers!)

  2. Love the question!

I've always thought Sandra Bullock. I identify with her combination of quirky/clumsy, while still managing to be a hollywood star.

    Younger, a brunette Rachel McAdams.

Older, Jennifer Saunders a la Ab Fab.

  6. I've never been very good at this question...but I've been told I look like Leslie Feist. She's not really an actress, but I bet she'd be a damn fine one if she tried. Then again she's probably way too awesome to play me...hehe

  7. Lucky you to look like Angie Harmon and be married to George Clooney's twin! I blogged last year that people have told me I look like Kristin Davis (Charlotte on Sex & the City), Geena Davis, Norah Jones and Helena Bonham Carter.

  13. When "Armageddon" came out, my huz got Ben Affleck a lot.
He also has some Hugh Grant qualities to him.

I've gotten a lot of Christina Ricci or Claire Danes.

Personally, I think I'm more Kate Winslet.

The British version of our life would be Kate & Hugh. LOL
American version, Ben & Jen Affleck (tho I don't look like her really, I <3 her totally).

  16. I have been told for years I look like Belinda Carlisle. From the Go Gos. I hope people mean the thin one, not the fat one!

  17. 15 or so pounds and years ago or so I used to look a lot like Sarah Jessica Parker. (Especially when I wore my hair naturally curly.) Hubby could be played by Keifer Sutherland. Or hey Brad Pitt! ;)

  18. I'll say Drew Barrymore when she's a tad pudgy. We have similar chins and coloring.

Saw Women's Murder Club and liked it. What did you think?

  19. You're so right. Blogging is certainly a mingle - and the good thing is bloggers only keep in touch with those whose work they can identify with.

In answer to your question. Who'd play me? Anyone with a sense of humour who truly values their wife and kids ...

  20. Okay, I've heard Kirstie Alley and Nanny Jo Frost from Supernanny. I don't see it, but I've been told.

My hubby? Who was the guy in The Mummy with Brendan Frasier who played the mummy? It would be that guy.

  21. Jennifer Garner, definitely. I've always wanted to kick butt and take names, s if i slightly fictionalize my story, she could play me!
