I loved Lady in the Water... though it was a little weird... We didn't even like Smokin' Aces.... though that's just our particular taste. :) Happy TT!
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't Netflix... although I think the concept is great. I see that "Lady In the Water" is in your queue. Hopefully, you will enjoy it more than I did. Since my girlfriend at the time is a big fan of M. Night Shyamalan, we went to see it at the theater. I fell asleep towards the end. However, I did think that the actress playing the college student was really good.

ReplyDeleteAs for Netflix... over half of it is for the kids. Yet the Tour Manager and I watch more movies than the kids do -- they're just too busy to sit and watch. I sort of like it this way.
Movies, I miss movies, it's sports all the time here. We did go see Blades of Glory and I am somewhat ashamed to say that I thought it was hilarious, silly and dumb, but I laughed.

I saw Premonition and Breach. Neither was particularly uplifting (but then, that's what I watch movies for--mood elevation). Enjoy.

I liked Fracture, the movie's good but the number 23 sucked!!! The guy's insane. If I had known it was going to be about someone that sick, I wouldn't have watched.
