13) Exersaucer...The Little Man has almost outgrown this, but he loves it.
12) Baby Pumpkin suit...This was The Little Man's Halloween costume, but it was great all winter, I swear we used it every day.
11) Kitchen spoons...of any kind, it amazes me how much babies love to play with spoons, who knew?
10) Bouncy Horse...Miss Peach's 2nd birthday gift...loves it more every day!
9) Robeez...I love these shoes for little ones, they are easy to put on, and just so cute!
8) Mini crib...The Little Man slept in many different rooms for a while, this crib is sturdy, and portable. We have really put it to good use.
7) Pack-n-play...These are just great for traveling. My team doesn't like them, but the grown-ups in the house sure do...
6) Bouncy chair...I wouldn't have showered for a year if it weren't for this.
5) Johnny Jump up...Miss Peach could not get enough of this, and she was so cute in it!
4) Bumbo Chair...This chair was great after the babes could hold their head up.
3) Fischer Price booster chair...We love this! It is portable, and easy to clean, and fits on any chair. I just toss it in the dishwasher if it gets too filthy...Love it!
2) Exercise ball...Use it every day. Great for soothing colicky babies, and older kiddos like to play with it.
1) Phill & Ted's double stroller...I would be paralyzed without this stroller...
These are the things I have found along the way...What have you found that I need?
Dropped the ball right out of the gate! The best present Miss Peach ever got...Butterscotch the pony! (Thank you G'ma!!!)

Boo hiss, has Little Peach forgotten BUTTERSCOTCH?
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of buying my friend a bumbo.
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!!! Great list!
Well baby stuff sure has gotten fancy in the past 14 years. So sad, no more walkers...I know why, but boy, did my kids love them.
ReplyDeleteWe had an exersaucer; #1 loved it, #2 hated it, possibly because #1 would play with it while she was in it...
ReplyDeleteMy kids liked the exersaucer, but my youngest really loved the jumparoo I got at a garage sale. Great list! :)
ReplyDeletekid stuff has come a long way since i was a kid! i would have died and gone to heaven if i'd gotten Butterscotch as a gift!!! Still might LOL!
ReplyDeleteI love all that stuff too...mine turns a year old on the 25th! And I have a 14 and 11 year old.
ReplyDeleteRobeez are the coolest!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwww, memories...Now, both of my boys are bigger than me:) Happy TT.
ReplyDeleteYep, this list should be posted in the pregnancy ward. we have all of these items as well. by far, the biggest hit was that dumbo bumbo chair!
ReplyDeleteHello. I am just a visitor to your blog, but I have been considerign getting a phil and ted stroller. Just a quick couple questions for you....Does the kid in the back actually like sitting there? Do you think it is a lot better than just a regular double stroller? AND FINALLY how old do you think your kid can be and still ride in it? Sorry for all the questions....I LOVE the stroller!
ReplyDeleteWow, lots of new things since I was a kiddo, that's for sure! I recognize Fisher-Price, though... LOL!
ReplyDeleteHappy T13, and thanks for visiting mine!
The Baby Pumpkin Suit! This is my all time favorite outfit to buy a new baby for their first fall. They always look so adorable. :)
ReplyDelete*Deep, I want a baby sigh*
Great List! :)

My little one loved his bouncer seat too.
ReplyDeletemy 13 is up
http://momworksathome.blogspot.com
Krista, The Little Man prefers the back seat (no lie) I was worried about that as well. It is half the weight and size of the double wides (so much easier to fit everywhere). It is not an age but a weight, the stroller will hold 45lbs in each seat. My two year old weighs 28, and my one year old 25. I think it will easily take us to three years or more....
ReplyDeleteI wish we'd had such things as kids. Happy TT.
ReplyDeleteAMEN to the bouncy seat! And many of the others on this list, too. Happy TT!
ReplyDeleteBumbos are so fabulous! All my friends with babies have them and love them. Fun list! Thanks for stopping by my TT. I'm glad I'm not the only one who misses Gilmore Girls. :)
ReplyDeleteKitchen spoon sounds like a variant on the Law of the Box: To a child the box is always more interesting than the present inside it
ReplyDeleteGreat TT :-)
The exersaucer and Robeez were both on my "couldn't live without" list. In fact, our exersaucer has been on loan continuously since we finished with it over 3 years ago. We just gave it to the newest family last week.
ReplyDeleteAmusing list - and I especially like the commentary that goes with each one. Thanks for visiting my TT! (And I love the Super-Mom cartoon in your banner, FYI.)
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I don't have any children of my own, but I have a seven month old nephew that we keep a lot, and that exersaucer is a life-saver! Goober loves his...and it was only $5 at a yard sale! Can't beat that. We got him a bumbo, too, but he hated it, so we took it back. :(
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my TT!
excellent list... this information may come in handy in the next year or so... EEK!!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I don't know about any of this stuff as I don't have any kids (well, only the canine variety), but thanks for visiting my TT. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy sons had pumpkin suits when they were little. Oh, does that bring back some happy memories.
ReplyDeleteEldest is in college now, and youngest is 16.
THANKS! I just might have to buy the stroller. I just wish it were half the price!
ReplyDeleteMy kids might be deprived...I have no idea what half of that stuff is. We just give the kids scissors and matches and let them go play out in the road.
ReplyDeleteJUST KIDDING!
ReplyDeleteWow, amazing what kind of stuff exists to help with kids these days. I can't remember having any of this when I was a child. Well, I probably had a booster chair, but certainly not one like that Fisher Price thing. But I'm not sure if your son will ever forgive you for the pumpkin suit in case he ever sees photos of that when he is older. LOL
ReplyDeleteI wish I'll get to buy this things too for my future little one. I lost my first to miscarriage 2 months ago. Great list you have here. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy granddaughter has a Johnny Jump-Up, but she doesn't use it to jump. She just likes to swing :)
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I even recognize a couple of the things on it :)
ReplyDeletei remember having a bouncy horse myself when i was younger
ReplyDeleteAwww... the pumpkin suit is far too cute. And the Robeez... awwww...
ReplyDeleteSo many memories. Thanks for this great TT! =)
