I was at a bistro a couple of days ago and a woman had apparently just picked up her copy of this book in the mail, as she was opening it to read over lunch. I have also seen it as a giveaway on someones Fall Y'all Bloggy giveaway, and almost asked her if I could glance at it. I restrained myself, albeit reluctantly! I will have to go check this out. We have already altered many recipes on our own to accommodate our strange requirements, but Ornery really would do without veggies if I didn't make them the main course sometimes!

i agree with you. i have been "secretly" putting thigns like wheat germ into my kids' food for years but that doesn't mean that i don't make the plate into a pretty display of all the yummy food that is being served at the table, including bits of the salad, veggies, etc. everything in moderation, eh?:-)

I made the spaghetti pie last week and it was FABULOUS!!! I didn't have any broccoli so I subbed spinach puree in the meatballs. They were great! I served it with a salad.

I made pumpkin cookies yesterday, BUT I used whole wheat flour and added some ground flaxseed. :) I am always trying to add the omega 3 and up the nutrition. :)
